If you are doing the Camino, this place is literally on the curb. Exceptional accommodations, clean, good WiFi, but, as mentioned, cell service is a dud. We had a view of the castle ruins from our room as well as the garden terrace-too cold to use but looks nice. Breakfast dull after being spoiled elsewhere but don't let that stop...

We booked this hotel online on the morning of arrival, through Trip Advisor and Booking.com. However, when we got there we understood that the hotel was full. (The lady spoke no English, although we accept we speak no Spanish, this made this conversation very difficult!) It seemed that she hadn't updated the booking.com site after taking a phone booking. She...

This little boutique is located in the center of Castrojeriz, which winds for quite a distance along two small streets along the Camino de Santiago. The dinner was very nice and the breakfast was adequate. Our room was older, but clean and comfortable. The wifi is very weak and so is the cell signal. However, the hotel is relaxing. A...

Hotel picked me up even though I could not call for pick up due to absolutely NO cell service in Hornillos del Camino. I believe I must have been the last guest to check in and probably was given the last room. It's clean and a place to sleep. Zero to see or do so you would be spending time...

Welcomed by proprietor, showed me the room before accepting money. Very clean, nice garden in the rear. Excellent price, breakfast was included in the room rate. Lunch and dinner are available. The hotel is along the route of the Camino de Santiago.

Stayed here whilst walking the Camino. Lots of nice areas to split of to. Two outside areas and a very nice lounge area that we relaxed in after a hard day of walking. Had dinner here and the food was ok. Had potential but I think they reheated a chicken curry which is a bit of a risk.

This was a wonderful place to stay whilst walking the Camino. And Yes, it's right on the Camino! An old house built into the rock face. Lovely rooms, with private bathroom. Nice little restaurant with a great dinner. Delightful and helpful staff. It's about half way through the town, which is long and thin, clinging to the hillside.

Wifi worked very well. We had walked the Camino from Hornillos & had no lunch on the way. After showing us to our spacious room with a view out the window of the Castle, we sat in the courtyard out the back where the staff graciously gave us beers & a tortilla bocodila for our lunch. We paid €55 for...

The rooms are huge! As are the bathrooms. The view we had out of our window was the castle atop the hill! The beds were very comfortable and the wifi fast and strong. The staff here are wonderful. They had only one wait staff at night time and he was run off his feet with all the tables to serve....

While we didn't stay at this hotel, we did stop for lunch while cycling the Camino de Santiago. Multiple good choices on the pilgrim's menu, very tasty dishes with friendly service. Just the right thing on a hot tired day of cycling!
