My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the Gumbo Limbo Resort in February (2016). Our 7 night stay was absolutely marvellous and, having travelled quite extensively, we were amazed at the views from our breakfast/dinner table and of the comings and goings of such a varied number of birds. We had a beautiful 'Cabanya', capable of sleeping...

It was a great quiet place to stay, near to San Ignacio, if you need to go on tours, but away from the city noise. Great host and hostess, Jennie and Mike, were very helpful. Very relaxing place to stay after staying on the reef. The cabins are lovely. Definitely would go back again.

This is a great little park. Not a whole lot to do but what there is was really great. The Macaws are beautiful, the little museum was interesting and the monkeys were a whole lot of fun. I would like to return sometime and spend a little more time.

Our family of four spent four nights here over Easter and loved it. Very convenient to the local town and the Mayan ruins. We had breakfast every day, and Mike makes the best coffee in a French Press. We had two great dinners, which included appetizer and dessert for one set price. The food is English style but after a...

What you see on their web site, is what you will see when you get there. The staff and good are wonderful, as well, you can sit and have a wonderful conversation with the owners of the resort. Recommended for the peace.

Our three adult daughters joined us on an adventure vacation in Belize over Christmas week and we were very happy to have chosen to stay at Gumbo Limbo. While making the arrangements for our visit, Jenny informed us that nothing would be open in the area upon our arrival on Christmas Day so we were welcome to join them for...

We had the best stay at the Gumbo Limbo! We will be recommending them to everyone we know coming to Belize. Beautiful grounds and rooms, comfy beds, delicious light breakfast with amazing coffee and excellent hosts! Driving in would be a little tough without a 4wd dr in the rain but we had no problem. The pool is a nice...

Beautiful place! Jenny & Mike are doing a great job on this spectacular place. Nice rooms, beautiful pool and very nice outdoor eating area/bar. Far off the beaten trail and get a real Belizian experience. Will definitely recommend folks to stay here from now on. We just stopped in (twice) to check it out and came back to have breakfast....
