We arrived at Liku'alofa Beach Resort and were very warmly welcomed by Anna and shown to our gorgeous bungalow. The views, from the bungalow and from all parts of the resort, are stunning. The staff are amazing too! Everyone makes a real effort to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay.. Glenda, Anna, Rosa, Nancy and Maria who looked after...

I had absolutely no expectations of Tonga or the Liku'alofa but was more than happy from the moment I arrived. I was looking for a relaxing holiday and that is exactly what I got. Rosa, Nancy and Glenda could not do enough for me, even room service with breakfast one day when it was raining! The food was excellent and...

This is the most welcoming place we have ever stayed! My girlfriend and I spent 6 days at Liku'alofa in January and it was an amazing experience. We were welcomed by Rosa and Nancy who made a great first impression. For the rest of the stay the whole team made us feel like part of the family and even invited...

After reading many reviews on this place, i was really looking forward to a nice comfortable stay, however, this was not to be. We were given a beachfront fale which we paid extra for and found the views really amazing. We then opened the door was shocked to see the poor condition of the fale we were in, room 105....

We had lunch here and must say we were all pretty disappointed with our food, from fish and chips, to burgers. it was very average and had a home cook feel to everything. The quality of fish especially was surprised given our expectation that they would have access to fresh catch. The cocktails were also disappointing, the staff have clearly...

We originally booked the Likualofa for 19 nights, but ended up swapping to Haatafu Beach Resort as our friends had stayed at Haatafu and highly rated it. During our 19 nights at Haatafu we decided to pop over to the Likualofa for a pre dinner cocktail. We sat in the bar area overlooking the sea, the atmosphere seemed lovely and...

We stayed here for 2 nights and that time was great. Cabins was in good condition and view to the sea was stunning. Staff was friendly. Food was great. Beach was good for snorkeling, but waves are pretty big when high tide comes in the evening. Resort is pretty far away from the main city. Dinner and the fire show...

Yes, it's cheap. Yes, the staff is doing good work. But I'd rather payed more to get a better hotel: There were no hot water. Lighting in rooms and of paths were poor. Rooms are weared. Beach is basically a coral rock and views are average. Rental car is the must

My husband and I visited Liku'alofa Beach Resort for our wedding anniversary. We rented a bungalow (would recommend this) for our 10day stay. The bed was a little uncomfortable but your staying in an island. The views of the ocean from yhe bungalow was magnificent! The water was lovely to swim in, just bring waterproof shoes because the coral is...
