Quality of food & standard of service very poor. I would certainly not recommend this establishment & will definitely not visit again. Complaint made to hotel at time of visit also letter of detailed issues found on visit. As of todays date no response from hotel to rectify.

Visited the New Gower Hotel this evening for dinner. The whole experience was 1st class. Very COVID secure with a no hassle track and trace process, the customer does nothing expect answer a series of questions. Table was on the terrace which was great as a hot evening, although in the valley so it was cooler. Food was delicious, sea bass was well presented and wonderful. Starter and dessert also perfect and so was the service. Cannot fault and will return soon.

Husband and myself have stayed overnight, previously and decided to visit again, for Sunday lunch. Hottest weekend in July so wondered what it would be like having a full 3 course meal on a Sunday. We were joined by our 2 friends and, on arrival , were given the choice of inside, outside or in the conservatory. After all covid checks, we opted for the large and airy conservatory. It was still very hot but the decor was light with plenty of flowers and damask type tablecloths. Tables were spread out sensible with plenty of room. Quality serviettes. The staff were mainly youngsters and were bright, cheerful and polite. A real plus point and, as a retired teacher , it was a pleasure to see the youngsters who were a credit to the establishment. The 3 course meal was excellent. I had prawn cocktail followed by a large portion of delicious beef and vegetables..which were cooked just enough to be full of taste' Desert..panna cotta and blackberry cheescake. I couldn`t decide so we split deserts, husband and myself. Delicious!!! A fab day at The Gower Hotel, with old friends who also enthused about their meals(the men had beef and my friend had cod). Thanks you for a dazzling day..sunshine, friendship and meal. Recommended!! Parking at the venue or on the quiet, valley road.

We had a fabulous meal and drinks. The food was great and the staff were excellent. Our first meal out for a while and really enjoyed. Will definitely going back soon . Great out door area for pre dinner drinks. Could not fault the place and would be lovely place to stay over.

You know what it’s like with a cup of tea - every now and then, one really hits the spot. So it is with the Gower Hotel. The staff were lovely but the newly refurbished room was a delight. Loads of space with fresh, crisp linen and a huge bathroom with both bath and generous shower. And finally one of the best breakfasts I have in years. This proved to be the perfect, ‘off the beaten track’, stopover for a couple of days on the Gower. Thank you!
