A female friend stayed here 1 night. Danger is all around. She came from another province and booked online based on the low price since she was on a tight budget but absolutely felt duped. It is not recommended to stay here under any circumstances.

This is by far THE WORST HOTEL that I have ever stayed at in my life. The owners/managers are so nasty, so rude, bordering on actually abusive. The rooms are FILTHY. And the most unbelievable part was that the housekeeping stole some brand new still in the box toys that I had just bought my 18 month old daughter. Oh! One other thing my laundry was STOLEN from the laundry room! The management told me tough luck. And they were extremely offensive about the whole situation.

Filled with junkies, room was absolutely filthy. I had to clean it and put the top sheets off the bed on the floor so we didn't have to see the the absolutely disgusting floor. The cleaning girl pounds on my door at midnight looking for her lost cell phone. Completely messed up drinking a beer. Wakes my kid up. The toilet seat, a/c, fridge and TV remote were all broke.. Had been traveling all day with a 3 year old had to let him stretch out and sleep. Otherwise I would have never spent the night. I still feel like my skin is crawling. Was the WORST hotel I have ever been in.

Charged double for my room deposit but only credited back once..called the hotel when I noticed the charge on my statement. As I had a new credit card being that my old one had expired was told by management that I had to wait for the company that they used for their credit debit machine would send me a refund...then 2 weeks later when I didn't get a cheque in the mail.. our accounted will send you a cheque....2 weeks after that. ..well get back to you. ...then 2 weeks after that...the cheque is in the mail...then again I called...we fired our accounted...

Now they are refusing to credit me back at all and when I finally got pissed off the man who took my call hung up on me.

Rooms are old and hotel is old needs a total remodel. Parking lot is dark and dirty. We've always looked past these issues as the price is good. Rough crowd hanging around and the room next to us obviously had a prostitute working next door judging by all the different men coming and going and the "noises" we heard.

Stay somewhere else and spend the extra couple bucks on a nicer place!! I have now reported this to my credit card company as well as the bc hotel associated

We came to this place mid July as it was booked for our us by our office. It was apparently very cheap to stay. But we refused to stay a night here. Glad for it.

Pros:
There are none. I only gave it one star because that's as low as I could go.

Cons:
-Checked In and noticed some very sketchy looking and poorly spoken folks arguing and enjoying a lot of cans of beer at the pool...
-No parking lot lighting or security lighting. Lots of garbage littered around property. (That's a problem when you have many thousands of dollars worth of tools and equipment in your work truck)
-CoWorker's room smelled ok. But cigarette burns in bedspread. Pillows stained. Mattress stained. (Yeah, we checked it all) Garbage behind end tables. Dark spotting stains on sheets near head of bed (Bed bugs?)
-We checked out my room after being a little on edge about this place to begin with. Steel door was dented in so bad. Looks like someone tried to kick it down in a fit of rage. Reeked of cigarette smoke. Same stains on pillows and bed spread. Pulled the sheets back and it looks like housekeeping just remade the bed after someone slept in it. There were about two dime-sized splotches of blood on the sheets. Looks like someone vomited in the bathroom sink, washed it down and it came back up as well.

Needless to say, we checked out in a haste. We were not about to put our vehicle safety or personal health at risk for a lousy night's sleep. Don't stay here. Just don't.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been to. First of all, the pictures are not current. This place used to be a Travelodge but it seems that now is under new (and very poor) management. The place is close to abandoned.

We got there at night. We had to rush because the office closes after midnight. The "parking lot" was pitch dark (and filthy as we found in the morning). Our "non-smoking" room was also disgusting. The carpet, sheets and blankets; the whole room had a terrible smell. A combination of sweat and smoke they didn't even care disguising with air freshener. You could see the stains in the sheets and blankets and I wonder when was the last time they were washed. The towels seemed clean... or at least that is what I would like to think. The room door secondary lock was basically tore off as if someone broke into the place. The wifi did not work in the room because the signal was poor. But really, that was the least of my concerns.

At 2AM, 4AM and 5AM we were delighted by the screams of our next door guests who were obviously under the influence of alcohol or drugs and got in a fight. She locked him out. We would have called the office to complain, but guess what... they close the office at midnight remember?

I barely slept that night and in the morning I went out early to check on my car for which I feared anything could have happened to after having had to leave it in the dark. With daylight the picture was repulsive to say the least. Pizza boxes, beer cans, paper towels, condom boxes, cigarrete butts, you name it, in the floor. The pool? haha the pool was obviosly empty with some tools scattered around as if they were doing something to it (this is the end of a really hot June by the way, you would think the pool would be ready for the season. Right?).

All this for the exclusive rate of $99 per night (w/o breakfast... luckily).

Now, for the chaps of 'Trip advisor': You should flag this place. The pictures are deceiving and could be construed as false advertising to say the least.

The state of this room.... The wifi is bad, the smell is indescribable and the wallpaper is peeling of in several places. The state of the carpet forces me to wear shoes inside.
The staff was friendly enough.

I booked online and when I went to check in I was disappointed that the doors were locked and I couldn't get in. I contacted the online booking place and told them the situation but the hotel. They tried to call the hotel but no answer. The hotel's website is different then what the hotel looks like now. Run down and need a modern look. Needs work on there gardens and grass cutting. I did stay after they got a hold of the owner. got keys and the room was so dirty and the sheets weren't clean I guess I got the only room they had but not enough time to clean it. I slept in my sleeping bag. Never stay here again.

Nice accommodation, good location, perfect for a 1-2 day stay. Rooms were large, fairly well cleaned, although furnishings were somewhat out-dated. Fridge & microwave provided. Would have liked to have an in-room coffee maker, although there were various restaurants and fast food places within easy walking distance. Check-in/out was a breeze, staff was extremely friendly. I would stay here again next time I visit family in the area.
