I reserved a three bedroom "chalet" for New years eve 2016. We are participating in the polar bear plunge on Jan 1 2017. We have others coming from CA. to join us. 3 weeks after I made the reservation the owners of the driftwood lodge called me and said they are cancelling my reservation due to the fact that someone...

We booked directly with the hotel. Felt a bit gouged because original selection was unavailable. When we arrived we were shown a room and when we agreed to it, price went up. Our room had a great view of the bay and was clean and roomy. Shower was great. Managers were very accommodating and welcoming. It had a kitchenette that...

We stayed in a cabin, 2 bedrooms with kitchen and living area. Deck out back with chairs and a firepit along the river. Everything worked great, it was very clean. It is quite funky as it is kinda like going to your uncle's cabin up in the woods - none of the plates or silverware match, there's a sorta odd...

I go here every summer, and have a wonderful, restful time, the owners are wonderful, the place is old but that is the charm of the place. Nice pool to cool off, and the ocean is just across the street.

We rented cabin 4 which was toward the back of the row of cabins. Highly recommend this one if you are only renting only 1 cabin. There are 4 cabins and the back area lines the creek. Each cabin had a large bbq/fire pit, picnic table and lawn chairs. Plenty of room to hang out and you can hear the...

If you want to go back to the 50's then you'll like it here. They haven't renovated since then. The studio has dark wood paneling on every wall, it smells old, the carpet is old, has flat pillows, uncomfortable mattress, not enough blankets, no phone. The bathtub is small RV size. The soap is too small to hold on to....

Driftwood Inn is a funky collection of rooms, suites and cabins in an old-fashioned, sleepy, beach resort. Affordable and family-oriented, this motel is memorable for its very friendly and accommodating owners and well-maintained flower-filled grounds and pool. We stay in cabin # 4 which backs onto Terrell Creek. Entertainment includes cable TV and wifi, a nice pool in season, the...

Driftwood Inn is an affordable getaway for families of any size. If you don't mind cozy accommodations this place would work well for you. My family of 5 have stayed in their suites and cabins during the summer months and have enjoyed our stay every time. The rooms can be quite cozy for a family our size but we were...
