We had booked for a family wedding, and taken three rooms. The rooms were all different, but all very well presented with good quality crockery and kitchen utensils. The rooms themselves were more than adequate, and very clean and tidy. It was a particularly good set up if you wanted to prepare a snack. There are plenty of places where...

We spent one night at Ariki Lodge as a stopover heading north. The units were original and a little old fashioned but very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is great, easy walking distance to bar, restaurants and supermarket. Friendly host too.

We stayed for only one night on our way down the island. The room was functional but a bit old and tied. Everything was clean. Had a kitchen area with all basics, shower bit old fashion with curtain etc. Bed quite soft. Motel has a small pool. Parking outside units. Did not try internet.

The units are super clean and tidy and have...

Stayed one night in the cheapest room, on arrival the Manager upgraded us to a bigger room at no charge because it was available. How lovely was that? The bed was very comfortable exactly what we wanted as we prefer firm beds. Only disadvantage was the television was on the wrong wall making it difficult to watch TV while in...

I stayed a night before a course in Wellington and got the train in for the day. Very old style but warm, clean, comfortable and quiet. Ray very welcoming and allowed me to leave the car at the back of the car park when I was in Wellington.

Stayed at this quiet Motel for a weekend. Nice and quiet away from the main road. An older establishment, nothing fancy but it is clean. Carpark avalable for all units. Friendly and helpful staff. Would be happy to return.

Setting is very nice. Plenty of good parking - ignore the classic car which when I was there was moved around - maybe as it was hot. Try not to go to the motel owner's unit but use the bell to get someone to the office. A bit of metal fell off the stove and when I complained that the...
