it was my second weekend retreat at sugar ridge and i loved it again! the vegetarian meals are tasty, the programming is interesting and enjoyable and the sleeping cabins are simple but comfortable. sugar ridge seems to attract lovely guests. the ambiance is always relaxed, friendly and fun! and i especially love that it's pet friendly.

I spent the weekend at the Iyengar yoga retreat. I arrived literally crooked and came back balanced. When not in the studio I was meeting interesting people from all over and eating delicious healthy plant based food. The accommodations are in cabins in the woods. No annoyine LED lights, only moonlight and starlight coming in the window and only because it was hot and windows were open. There are no toilets or running water in the cabins. It is a back to nature experience but WIFI is available in the main building to check the forecast or the baseball score

Fantastic time relaxing and learning so much. Liz runs an amazing retreat. Book now you will be happy you did. Rooms were perfect. Beds so lovely to sleep in. Surrounded area is beautiful and I can’t even say enough about the amazing food created for you while you’re there. Yoga was top notch. Can’t wait to go back !

I had a great time here at Sugar Ridge Retreat ,the vegetarian food was great and the yoga ,sound bells , Qigong classes . The cabins are all very clean and comfortable . There are great walking paths on the property and now all the trees are turning color its very beautiful . All of the staff from the Kitchen staff to the cleaning staff to the Management staff are all easy to talk with and you become very close with them . I was here for 1 week and I felt like I was here for 1 month . I had a great vacation .

There isn't anything I didn't like about the center. I honestly can't wait to go back. The beds and pillows are so comfortable which is hard to find nowadays. The food is exactly like what the reviews I read before going said- amazing!!! It's all plant based but they really know how to make plant based food taste delicious. The service is so friendly. Liz is so knowledgeable and helpful. She really cares about each person and to help you improve your life. Her dogs are adorable too which made my stay even better. The cabins and the common area are all very clean. The cabins don't have a bathroom so you have to go to the main cabin but it's not a long walk.

I wish there was 10 star Sugar Ridge doesn't deserve 5 star they deserve 10+ staff were over and beyond nice i felt love and care i miss every single one including the guests , i had such an amazing experiences i defiantly will go back and solo is the best way to go you get a chance to meet incredable people Thank you Liz you are an amazing person thank you Jennifer thank you Jessie thank you all .

I have just returned from my first ever retreat - Yoga and Meditation Stress Reduction. Words really can’t do it justice. It was a safe, restorative and nourishing space for my soul. From the space itself to the food, the group sessions, the forest bathing and the special connection with the other participants - it was magical and sacred. My tank has been refuelled. Thank you so much to everyone, especially Pamela, for creating such magic.

I've been going to Sugar Ridge for about ten years, usually in the spring and the fall. It is a great place to just relax, or to experience yoga and other types of movement instruction. The hiking is excellent with a couple of trails on the property. The food is really good, and all vegan, with gluten free options. The cabins are very comfortable, and are well insulated, so are cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It is a dog friendly resort, with up to seven resort dogs on site. You have be a responsible dog owner, and ensure that your dog is socialized, as guests are responsible for managing the dogs, not the retreat staff or management. Highly recommended!
