The food and drinks here are amazing! Such a lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful staff and top notch service. The outdoor area is lovely, covered seating with heaters as well as seating out along the river bank. And they even provide blankets, making it super cosy! Would definitely recommend to everyone I know, and will definitely be back!

I am trying to speak to a human being at The Leven Hotel in Stokesley about a reservation as I want to cancel this & its a long automated call going through OYO & then I get cut off several times! How frustrating is this..... All I want is a person to speak to instead of pressing this number then the other!! My reservation number is RES253575 for June 19th 2021 & I want to cancel this room. Here's hoping this message is seen as I refuse to try the number again. Thanks Alison

I highly recommend you avoid this hotel, the rooms are totally unreflective of the reviews and images advertised. The front exterior gives the impression it’s a smart building. When you enter the accommodation area, walls in the corridors are partly plastered, carpets filthy. In the bedroom there are dirty marks on the carpets, dirty tiles in the shower, toilet roll holder hanging off, dressing table with leg hanging off, plaster coming away from the ceiling and marks all over the walls. Finally a dirty t-shirt had been left in the wardrobe so the cleanliness is certainly questionable. We informed a member of staff that we were not satisfied with the cleanliness and quality of the room that was described as ‘deluxe’. The response from the staff member was “you get what you pay for”. I did point out that perhaps advertising a room as £110 reduced to £55 is increasingly misleading as it gives guests the impression that there was an offer on the room and that the quality must be very good if room rates are usually £110. Needless to say did not stay in this room and found alternate accommodation. We informed OYO about the situation they would NOT offer a refund.
