This was the third time I have stayed with Larry and Shelly. They make you feel like you're visiting family. The whole family works so hard to make your trip one to remember. The acomadations clean and comfortable in a rustic setting. First rate equipment on the boat and everyone works hard to make your trip a success. I'll be...

Our family "staff" here at Kodiak Adventures Lodge does work very hard to make peoples trip exciting, enjoyable, entertaining and also productive when it comes to catching fish. Thanks for bringing new people with you each time to share your experience. You have "family" in Kiliuda Bay and the welcome mat is always out.

in august(2016) I and three friends visited Kodiak adventures lodge with the intention of fishing in Kiliuda bay and fly fishing the streams flowing into the bay. After fishing in the bay on the first day, the owner informed me that he was not staffed to support stream fishing because he had a note in his files indicating that we were...

We are truly sorry you had a disappointing trip. Your reveiw is not quite accurate. You informed us during the first day on the boat that you had suffered a rib injury 2 weeks before your arrival. This made it difficult for you to reel fish in. You came with an 87 years old man, his daughter and granddaughter. At...

We just returned from a 6 day trip with the Carroll family at Kodiak Adventures Lodge on Kiliuda Bay AK and it was the ultimate fishing and wildlife adventure of a lifetime. We caught numerous pink, chum, king salmon, black rock bass in addition mega Halibut everyday. When when the fishing was slow during the day we were seeing Kodiak...

We started our trip the first week in June.We flew into Kodiak Adventures Lodge with Island Air. This was the "4th" year. that we got the true wilderness experience and enjoyed the beauty of Kodiak. We had a fabulous time--"fishing" was great..had a harder time "catching"..BUT we still managed to bring home our fish for the year!! We were treated...

We are always honored when you book and come to our lodge. You are right on when you talk about wildlife you can see. Kiliuda Bay is a great place because not only can you catch plenty of fish, but have all this beauty and wildlife also. On top of that we keep the groups small for a true wilderness...

I am writing this review for my father who does not have a Trip Advisor account but hand wrote this review for publication. "Our trip with Kodiak Adventures Lodge with Larry and Shelly Carroll was amazing! This is a remote location and not your 5 star hotel. What it is - is a very adequate lodge and accomodations. It was...

We always appreciate when someone takes time to tell people about their trip. This helps so many people make decisions on where to go. His whole family was terrific. We met him several years ago while doing a sport show in Penn. Took a few years of back and forth emails for him to book and we are so happy...

This was my 2nd time and my wife's 1st time to Kodiak Adventures lodge and they exceeded all expectations. From the fishing to sightseeing and the meals, both of us felt like we were spoiled by Larry, Shelly, and the boys. The room was first rate, and really comfortable. I had my birthday while I was there and they even...

I have been to Kodiak Adventures Lodge 3 times. I go every other year. It is truly a special experience. The setting on Kiluida Bay is spectacular. The lodge is set on a bay (basically a fjord) in an amazingly verdant valley surrounded by great fishing. The Carroll Family runs the place and they pretty much adopt you for the...

We really do try to treat you like our family and take extra pleasure when we have kids (they are our future). This reviewer always changes the group a little and it is always a great time thanks to him. As we say, we are only half of the reason they have a great time. Our guests do all the...

Owning a service based business has its ups and downs. Having great clients like these are the ups. As always it is our goal with every client that they return as often as they can. It speaks volumes to us when they do. We think we have the greatest people as clients !!!!

This lodge offers great variety and fun hosts. Very friendly and accomodating for for any occasion. I was very impressed with the breath of options: Halibut, Salmon, Ducks, Deer, Bears, Hunting, Fishing, Ocean, River - you name it they have it. I am sure I missed some. The food was excellent and setting was peaceful. The sauna was very cool!
