My partner and I stayed here last night as we passed through the sleepy village of Chacewater. The booking cost us less than £40 & included a full cooked breakfast, free car parking and free wifi - so if I'm honest I wasn't expecting the quality to be great! We were greeted warmly by the landlord and locals in the...

It doesn't look like from the outside but rooms were modern and clean, staff was friendly and good breakfast. Only £40 a night and that was for 2 of us. It is off the beaten path but worth it to save the money. I would stay here again.

Well run by landlord who is on top of the business. Small menu, enough for the kitchen to handle efficiently but covers all options and well cooked. The same can be said for the breakfast. It is an old pub but very well kept and decorated.Extremely clean. The en-suite is a bit little but does what is required of it....

Arrived in a quaint little village - found the Kings Head easily. Landlord was most welcoming. Breakfast is served from 0800. Unfortunately we had to leave at that time. However we were given. Lovely complementary lunch instead of breakfast - excellent service. The room as clean and modern. Co for table bed - we had too. 1. Went downstairs for...

Lovely comfortable stay. En Suite room and tea and coffee making facilities. Clean room with tv and good Wi Fi. We were at the front so is a little noisy from traffic. Couldn't park in pub car park as it is always busy, but there is a free car park behind the pub and our car was fine. Breakfast was...

Excellent for families on holiday due to it's proximity in Cornwall to Truro, Holywell beach, St Agnes and Penzance etc. Great for tradesmen - good sized car park and near main roads. The pub does very reasonable evening meals - freshly prepared it seems. Breakfast is at 08:30, but sandwiches are left for those who need to leave earlier like...
