We stayed at Mount Farm for one night and could not believe everything that was available including chocolate cake in the fridge! We had double room in the barn conversion and my husband loved the wet room after a few mornings in very small shower rooms. We were so well looked after and and such good value for all the...

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodation. Our room was in the barn/milking shed conversion (very well done) with large en-suite bathroom and the kitchen/laundry outside our door with the welcoming piece of cake in the fridge. The washer & dryer are available for guest use, so it was extra convenient as it was in the...

We stayed in the barn conversion in a double room with a bathroom/wet room. Welcoming host. Very comfortable, clean, nicely furnished. Excellent breakfast. Only small disappointment was that the wifi signal was not good except in the main house. Nearby (short drive) there are pubs that serve adequate food.

Touring Northumberland and Cumbria, we were looking at short notice for an overnight stopover in Carlisle area. As always, we looked first off for farmhouse accommodation, as experience tells us these are usually the best. We were not disappointed -the warmest of Cumbrian welcomes, superbly appointed en-suite room, and excellent breakfast (available in 'small', 'medium' or 'large' !), as mentioned...

We had a very happy stay here for a night. Very near to the M6, great location and welcome. Fantastic facilities, rooms, extras and welcome. The breakfast was large and delicious and the location quiet with easy parking! We wish you both good health. Would certainly stay again!

The most relaxing, comfortable and welcoming b&b we have ever stayed in. Wonderful breakfast, use of a kitchenette with fridge a real bonus and cake in the fridge daily, along with fresh milk, fruit and snacks. We chose this b&b as it advertised kennels for dogs and our collie had all she needed too as well as plenty of exercise...

We can't thank Judith enough. This was a perfect B and B for us. We stayed to break our long journey to the Highlands and were not disappointed. Lovely clean B and B with a great breakfast. We stayed on the way back as well! We could not have had a warmer welcome - delicious cake - and felt at...
