Our second visit within one year again enjoying beautiful sunshine at this outstanding location. We had Latte and cake. Both was of good quality and even service was fast despite the fact the the restaurant was packed. We would always come back again. Highly recommended

We were only looking for an overnight stay to visit the Silit factory outlet in Riedlingen, and ended up with a lovely cultural experience. The feel of the convent is all prevailing (it is open to the public as well as an excursion) but the place is just unbelievable in its beauty and tranquility. Granted not all the conveniences of a Hotel are present but the shared bathrooms are modern and sparkling clean (I didnt actually run into anyone else there) and we enjoyed the honour system of the common room in the evening to help ourselves to wine, water and peanuts. Pets are welcome, and only word of caution is for tall people to watch the height of the doors (my husband slammed into it twice!) - behind which are lovely spacious rooms with high ceilings. We didnt try the Restaurant, but by all accounts, it provides a good service. The hotel is really the only show in town, but I really could envisage a bike tour in this lovely part of Germany and embracing further the tranquility of this unique and special property.

Cannot really be compared to other Hotels. If your looking to stay in an amazing atmospheric tranquil place, with great showers (not ensuite) good food, try this place, if you think Best Western is the way ahead, stay away. It`s a medival monastery and many things are brought bang up to date but obviously they have to work within the parameters set by the building, we loved it,
