Visited one night for tea both decided to have 12oz steaks which were cooked exactly how requested. The chips were homemade as well as the onion rings which were the best I had tasted in a long time, we order Stilton sauce which was delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced. Overall we had a lovely visit the bar staff were very...

Working away on business, I had the pleasure of staying at the Hogs Head Hotel in Awsworth for 3 days this week - I was not disappointed! Heading towards a dead end, you wonder where you are going to end up, but then a sharp left turn in to the driveway and the hotel appears. There are plenty of parking...

Hogs Head. What to say about this amazing place. Unlike most chains that don't really care if you return or not because they know someone else will go this place is an independent business and takes pride in the food they sell. Quite simply put it is the best carvery experience I've ever had and whenever I go anywhere else...

Stayed 1 night and paid the same price of a well known budget hotel chain. Room was very clean and bed comfy. Only slight moan was the shower pressure and temperature very hit and miss ( nothing major ). Check in very quick and staff friendly, breakfast included that was lovely.

Visited 21st September with my scooter friends, after turning up most of them commented what a nice place it was, but as we approached the bar and started to order drinks, some of the others came in and told us we've been asked to leave, the owner landlord doesn't want groups of people like us in his pub. The few...

Absolutely disgusted at the way we're treated... "The Place For All Occasions" is an absolute farce... 23 of us stopped off for a pit stop and because we was on scooters we were told we was NOT welcome... Not to worry though I think you can safely say once we all put the word around you won't be getting many...

My husband and I were over from the Isle of Man visiting his grandmothers in Langley Mill and Heanor and thought this was a good place close enough but also far enough away, we couldn't have picked anywhere better. It's off the beaten track but close enough too. Andrew, Anette and everyone who works there are lovely people, the food...
