Carys sent instructions for getting there by post and email which was very helpful. Upon arrival we were greeted by Paul and offered refreshments, before being shown to the immaculate Blue and Ivory room. The room had a huge comfortable bed and was well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras including a small fridge containing fresh milk. Breakfast was lovely...

This is a wonderful place to stay,it is a 5 star boutique BB, with wonderful hosts very friendly and welcoming. The house is charming with period features(it used to be a mill, with a stream running along side) and a well thought out decor. The guest sitting room is roomy and on arrival coffee/tea and homemade cakes are served. The bedrooms...

Excellent – From the moment we got there we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Our room was the best by far we have experienced in any boutique B&B, Paul & Carys really have thought of everything, our room was spacious, clean and welcoming even down to the extras that were supplied....

Just 2 nights stay, which my partner had arranged in secret. We were celebrating my birthday-what an excellent choice he made! We were greeted with a warm welcome by Carys, the owner, and offered hot drink/cake in the sitting room. By the time we had unpacked and taken refreshments, we were already feeling "at home" (a feeling not always achieved...

We were made to feel so welcome. A lovely spacious room - red and gold - full of character with beams. Tasty full English breakfast with such attention to detail. We would highly recommend this quality B and B and really good value too. A great location near to lovely pub in village.

Beautiful, quaint, Carys' attention to detail is over the top! Our room was spacious, well appointed, and extremely comfortable. I agree with the reviewer who called it the Ritz of the area. We started our trip here and stayed at the Old Course hotel in St Andrews and the Glen Eagles Resort. Yr Hen Felin held up to both in...

Whilst this was more expensive than most places we choose whilst backpacking, it was worth it. We received a warm welcome from Carys who showed us to our large, splendid room which contained everything one could need - a huge bed with beautiful linen, a fridge with fresh milk and bottled water, a well- equipped bathroom with plenty of toiletries and...

Just returned from a lovely relaxing 4 night break. Carys and Paul are so welcoming (fab homemade cakes and tea on arrival), friendly and full of local knowledge. The house is lovely and our room was beautiful - light, decor was great, fridge in the room to chill our drinks, bottles of water provided each day. We couldn't think of...
