I showed up without a reservation needing a room near the airport for one night. The staff were very friendly, and the room was nice with a good bathroom. There was free private parking which was great for me as I had a rental car. I think because of Covid, there was a very reduced breakfast offering available in your room included in the price. The one problem was that the power went out at around midnight. I was still awake, but an alarm outside was going off, and the bright emergency lighting turned on in the room. The power came back after about an hour, but that sure wouldn't have been a great experience if you were sleeping at that time!

I recently booked a business trip staying at the Tina Apartments. I paid a premium price in case my trip was cancelled and I needed to cancel the booking. Olympic cancelled my flight because of a strike. I passed a copy of this email on to the apartments expecting a full refund. Nothing, I even tried to negotiate a 50% refund as a resolution. Very dishonest and money grabbing. Will never use again.

I was arriving at Athens airport at 4am, and had an onward flight at 1pm. What to do!!! The hotel opposite the airport terminal (sofitel) would have been most convenient, but was about $180. Wow! So I found Tina Apartments on the web. But the guy on the phone told me to call him from the airport when I arrived. A bit of a gamble I thought. Don't want to be stuck at the airport at 4am with nowhere to go. But they were truly excellent. i called, the driver, Costos, I think, was there within 15 mins. Wearing a mask, very safe. Super professional, polite, helpful, informative. he took us to the hotel, carried all our luggage. The room was huge, with lots of space. There was free water in the fridge. Good a/c. Good wifi. We slept well, and then were taken back to the airport for the next flight. And all for a very reasonable price. What an excellent experience. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to you.…

We stayed here for one night following an evening flight to Athens before our onward journey to a Greek island. We chose this accomodation after reading the good recommendations. As with other travellers the owner picked us up from the airport which was an excellent service. On checking in we were offered a move to the nearby beach resort which was sold as an upgrade with sea views and nearby cafes and restaurants. We took up the offer after months of wondering if the holiday would be cancelled due to covid 19 it was exciting that our holiday would start so positively. The owner arranged a short transfer which should have triggered alarm bells when the car which arrived to transport us in was just about road worthy! The apartment we were taken to was nothing short of awful. Situated above a row of shops on a busy street. Two single beds, no t.v, shoddy decor, poor lighting and no kettle or access to any homely comforts. The balcony had a basic shabby table and 2 chairs. The driver left our cases and left stating how nice it was. Not being people who complain and being a bit stunned we went for a walk to explore the neighbourhood hoping this would make up for the room. It did not! The place was awful. On returning we could not locate the lights and realized the bathroom was shared and comprised of a sink and toilet. It was dirty and did not feel safe. My husband phoned the owner back and he agreed to collect us. However he was not pleased and his attitude towards us became extremely rude, loud and curt. It was 40 minutes after arriving at the coast before requesting to return and we appreciate that the driver had to make another journey but we could not stay there after paying the booking fee for the reasonable standard of accommodation we expected. There was no complaint with apartment Tina that was lovely. We remain baffled as to why the owner did this to us and spoiled the beginning of our much awaited holiday. Excellent service. Picked us up 10 minutes after arrival. Room clean and spacious. Quiet rural area. If you need a meal, take one with you. Back to the airport in the morning. Very efficient and immensely better than a night in the airport. Definitely recommend.
