Only 15 minutes from Athens airport, and a few steps from the beach. We ate on the beach terrace. Good food and very attentive service. All the staff were friendly. The Hotel was spotless. Our room had its own balcony overlooking the sea.
The hotel is very nice and just renewed. The room we had was not too large but had everything we needed. Nice welcome at our arrival with fresh fruit. There is also a beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. Very close to the airport.
Although we didn't stay at the Seasabelle Hotel, we did stop by for breakfast while on a short stay in Artemida. I just wanted to say what a lovely place to eat. 3 or 4 of us ordered the "Full Greek Breakfast" which was delicious. It was like a 3 course meal for 10 euros. First toast with butter and jam and a Greek coffee. Second a big bowl of Greek yogurt with nuts and an orange juice. Third came the eggs, whole chopped tomato, 2 chunks of feta and a big pile of yummy olives. We were pleased and stuffed. Great place to eat.
We booked the Seasabelle as our last night in Greece; flying out early the following morning, this hotel was close to the airport but not AT the airport. It's right across the street from a nice beach with several seaside restaurants to choose from. The staff was accomodating with directions and emailed us good instructions to give to the taxi driver (We came out of the Ferry Terminal in Athens). And they arranged for an early morning pickup so we could catch our flight the next morning. The hotel is clean and modern, we enjoyed our short stay!
My wife and I had reservations for one night on our last night of our Greece honeymoon. I made the reservations at the Seasabelle because of the proximity to the Athens airport and the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were looking forward to our stay. However, my wife had an accident in Santorini the day before and broke her ankle. As such, we needed to stay at a hotel right at the airport and needed to cancel the Seasabelle. I called them the morning of our stay at around 9 am to tell them we couldn't make it. Even though their cancellation policy (shown below), showed that we should have been charged a 15% cancellation fee--which I understood and could live with. They instead determined we were a "no show" and charged us for the entire nights reservation. I did explain the extenuating circumstance, but the General Manager didn't seem to care and showed that he cares more about the almighty dollar over and above empathy and understanding. So, as my review title states, if you know that you will 100% be at the hotel then maybe give it a chance. But if you need some flexibility, then go with a larger chain with more understanding cancellation policies. Seasabelle Cancellation policy: If you cancel this reservation up to 7 days before date of arrival no fees or penalties will be charged. If canceled or modified later, a cancellation penalty of 15% of the total reservation amount will be charged. In case of no-show, 100% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.…
