We had adjoining rooms, which was perfect for us. The rooms were more than comfortable and had great views over the valley towards the mountains. The owner obviously is closely involved in day to day operations, which shows in the attention to detail. The staff in general were friendly and helpful. The food was also very good. There are campsites...

We really enjoyed staying here. We were a bit concerned about relative distances to Sossusvlei, but actually, it's fine... you will be doing a reasonable drive the other side of the gate anyway... The place looks quite simple from the outside, but don't let that deceive you - it's a high quality property. The food here was sensational! They have...

We had a lovely stay at the camping site, and visited the lodge's elevated deck to watch the sun set while having a beer. Took a hike to the far mountains, but realised they are much further than they seem - a wonderful experience to just take a bearing and start walk through the rocky desert landscape. Ablution facilities provide...

Traveling on some of the Namibian roads can be taxing on man and machine. We opted for Agama due to its close proximity to Sesriem / Sosusvlei and what a gem we found. I suppose it might be seen as symbolic that campsite number 1 was allocated to us as it is, without a doubt, the Number One campsite we...

It was really special staying at Agama River Camp. The chalets are well designed and comfortable and have fantastic roof top areas from which you can sit and enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun go down and lighting up the beautiful mountains. The food which is served in the restaurant is quite spectacular and there is a lovely bar...

We loved our stay at Agama River Camp. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, the food was great, and it was a beautiful location. Plus, the puppies are incredibly cute and always willing to play.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights. We booked 2 chalets which were spacious and clean with heater/AC, lamps for walking up to the dining room, verandah and a sundeck (great for sunsets). The only thing that was bad were the doors to the rooms they seemed to be old and closed very badly. But the manager told us...

This has to be one of the best if not the best camping spot in the entire Sesriem area. Loved our stay and campsites have ample space and shade. Definitely recommend this place and will return on my next visit to Namibia
