Very nice and clean campsites in a stunning location. There are running water and clean ablutions available for all the campsites. There is also a swimming pool shared between all campsites. It is located just in before the Spreetshoogte Pass as you come from Windhoek, so close enough for a day-trip to Solitaire and surrounds. Prices are reasonable, would not... More

What an amazing place! Wonderful views, great 4x4 trails and hikes. Also the campsite was really spacious. The only problem was that the owners appearantly moved south, so the promised restaurant and bar were closed. Which kinda sucked.

What a stunning Guest Farm. The Villas most spacious and comfortable accommodation, neatly integrated with the nature. The MTB route most recommendable. Enjoyed every moment during our two day stay. Friendly reception and delightfull meals.

Namibgrens is situated 50km from the main road to Solitaire. The road to get there is advertised as easily accessible by 4 x 2 vehicle. Firstly, the road is very badly corrugated and a challenge even for a 4 x 4 and secondly one has to negotiate the steepest, highest pass that we have ever driven. This would all be... More

We stayed in the rooms adjacent to the homestead, because dinner and breakfast was included. However the room was not up to standard. The bathroom is an add-on inside the room and is far from private. The facilities does definitely not warranty the rates. However if you choose the mountain villas it is a total different story. They are fabulous... More

My mom and dad and us (family with 2 x kids) stayed over at the Villas for 3 days. The views getting there via Spreetshoogte pass was excellent! The place itself was awesome, the rooms build into the rocks is a nice touch. Rooms are very big, beds comfy, has a luxury feel to it and everything was in excellent... More

The place is amazing, the scenery, the hikes and the stunning villas. But the welcome borders on rude (not for the first time) the villas are let down by the details, had to ask for bedding for the kids despite already paying for them, broken chairs and not enough crockery. Were told the dishes would be cleaned in the morning... More

I happened to arrive at Namibgrens one evening in a state of absolute exhaustion after travelling most of the day, driving extremely long hours to attend to a minor crisis. At first the place seemed absolutely deserted and I drove around a bit before giving up hope. As I was leaving, I saw a pair of headlights coming up behind... More

Namibgrens Guest Farm is a place of wonder. The setting is simply magnificent, something that becomes even clearer if you take a 4x4 to explore the many tracks in the hills around the farm. The lodges are unbelievable - the way they are integrated in the land makes them truly unique, and they offer comfort that is second to none.... More

The individual campsites complete with seating, braai area, food prep surface, undercover area and private outdoor hot water shower and toilet make this a lovely campsite. A perfect overnight stop between Windhoek and Sossesvlei. The shower and toilet is beautifully setup, tucked away into the rocks. A real bathroom with a view. There is decent spacing between the campsites that... More
