Just back from a wonderful stay with Ayşe and Cengiz. What an amazing place to relax and unwind and enjoy nature at it's best. The accommodation was excellent and to have the cottage all to ourselves was an lovely bonus. The breakfasts were superb, presented beautifully and a different array of home grown goodies were there to delight our palettes....

We stayed at Dikencik Cottages for 3 nights in July. The owners are wonderful and made our stay very personal. As we arrived late at night without having had anything to eat, they said they would make us something to eat. That "something" was a three course meal which was delicious. The place is beautiful. Room are large and decorated...

nice location in the woods above the village and very hospital welcome by the owners. Very quiet location except for some coqs. Great breakfast, much more than we could eat. Our family room at the first floor in the guesthouse was quit large and had a common living room and kitchen with the basement rooms. The pool is big enough...

Ayse and Cengiz couldn't be more perfect as hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and the scenery and setting are fantastic. I couldn't recommend Dikencik more strongly. And even better the locals are almost as friendly and the atmosphere is superbly relaxing. This must be one of the most relaxing settings in the world.

I went with a group of friends for the Morels Festival. Ayse and Cengiz are the perfect hosts, they are great organisers, speak many languages and whatever your interests they will help you find plenty of things to do and see. The food is marvellous, local fresh organic seasonal ingredients and typical regional recipes, very wide choice and aromas, colours...

This is my third time staying with Ayse and Cengiz. We brought a group for the local Morel(mushroom) Festival. From previous visits my expectations were high and I had also given my companions lots of high expectations. But not to worry, my expectations were surpassed and all of us were delighted and touched by the hospitality of our hosts. The...

Everytime I type a review for Dikencik, I always delete it because it justs looks too good. My first official stay at Dikencik was beyond expectations. The houses are impeccably kept thanks to Cengiz's keen eye and a crackling fireplace keeps the large spacious houses warm. The food is scrumptious and only if my stomach were big enough. These cottages...

Summer in Turkey is hot.. normally 40 degree hot. Dikencik is a short drive up into the hills away from Fethiye. As a result the evenings are a few degrees cooler and much more bearable. The accomodation could not really be better, clean, well kept and everything you need .. except the crowds. Cenghis and Ayse are really the perfect...

Everything that Darlyne D says of this place is correct. It is very unique, not the normal bed and breakfast, hotel or motel. There are two houses with 5-6 bedrooms with complete kitchens. Cenghis (zhen-gus) and Ayse (eye-sha) live in the house by the pool. Both houses have lovely porches with chairs and tables. Cenghis and Ayse are most wonderful...

If you love being treated with genuine, heart-warming TLC, this place is for you, because everything Çenghis and Ayse do, is done that way! From hand-picking mushrooms, herbs and fresh garden produce, to preparing and serving it with loving attention, rarely have I witnessed such genuine care or tasted such delectable dishes. Truly a foodies delight! Our room, in a...
