This place is so nice and comfortable. The host was very helpful via messages. Check in was easy. The number was given and the key in the door. Later Lil dropped by to make sure we were nicely settled in. The kitchen has all the facilities to self cater. The rooms/beds were comfortable. There was no heater but the beddings were warm enough. I had a good night's sleep. There is also a private terrace as the cabin was waterfront. There is also a sauna but we did not use. Maybe a piece of floor cloth for when getting out of the shower with wet feet would be helpful. The tv has no channels. Its just for attaching devices. If I stay here for a few days in winter it would be good if there are channels for entertainment. For just one day we enjoyed the cabin.

We had a lovely one night stay in Lofoten Basecamp. The house included a downstairs washer (no dryer) in the bathroom with adjacent full bedroom along with a downstairs kitchen and living room. As we entered, the flatscreen was already on YouTube playing a nice, welcoming fireplace on repeat. The upstairs included two attic-like rooms with two twin beds each with bathroom. You could comfortably fit 6 people, but we had only 5 staying there. The furniture was nice and modern. The host allowed my friends to get a late check-out and even offered us the use of the sauna, which would usually be extra. Roughly it was 10 minutes away for Leknes city-center as well as the airport. If you don't have a rental car, it was a 350 NOK taxi ride to the airport.

We rented a rorbu for our family of five (all adults), for five nights. The rorbu (cabin / apartment) was very new, clean, spacious, and very practically laid out, with three bedrooms and two large bathrooms. Kitchen / living room had a beautiful view towards the fjord, and a huge deck, perfect for food and drinks! In addition, there is a beautiful sauna on premises that can be rented, and a swim in the ice cold water followed by a few minutes in a hut sauna, can really be recommended! The host was also very nice. He was very friendly and helpful. He made himself easily available when you needed him, without being "in your way". My family has been to Lofoten several times through the years, due to family living in the area, and we can easily recommend Lofoten Basecamp! The location is perfect for exploring both the western and the eastern parts of Lofoten. You are close to Leknes for shopping, and hiking areas are all around, with the closest being available just outside the cabin!…

The Rorbu Suites are new and very well maintained and clean. The house is nicely furnished and has a big terrace directly above the water. Our host Rolf and his crew do everything to ensure we feel comfortable and at home. A place we definitely can recommend!
