My friend had wedding here, and this is just beautiful place for that. You will admire the place every second every day you spend there. Owners are just amazing, and they have organised everything perfectly. This is the place where the words are not enough, you just have to go and experience it. I would recommend it to everyone who...

I returned from my 4th consecutive years holiday at Chateau d'Arlens earlier this week. Ever since my first stay with family friends (18 of us ageing from two to 60), I have tried to take as long as possible a holiday here. It's absolute magic. The Chateau is a beautiful classic building, with wooden floors and large airy rooms, set...

A perfect venue for a relaxed informal wedding celebration. We stayed at the Chateau and the whole character and ambience is welcoming and relaxed. The views of the surrounding countryside are spectacular and we were fortunate enough to have wonderful weather for the wedding celebrations. Sal and her whole team managed to make the wedding preparations easy, even though a...

Finding somewhere in France, which could take 16 people ranging in age from 8 to 76 for a week long family celebration, was not easy but Chateau d’Arlens turned out to be everything we hoped for. Set on a high promontory with glorious southerly views over the rolling Gers countryside and the Pyrenees in the distance, it is a unique...

Although on request B&B is accommodated this is the kind of place you lease for a week or more for a large family or good gang of friends. We had a party of 18 at its height and thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay. Sal makes everyone feel incredibly welcome and will help with anything from posting back forgotten items to...

Sal and her team work really hard to ensure you get the best from your stay at her home. A large rambling house full of interest where you can feel at home. Lovely pool and nice terraces for relaxing. Lots of different bedrooms some with en suite ..comfy beds..bathrooms are all very different and some need updating a bit. We...

My first review and sorry not to be overwhelmingly enthusiastic. A great old fashioned and shabby chic (less chic) house run by Sally who is a tour de force..it is run along house party lines so need to be able to rub along with other guests...late night piano playing at 2pm isn't every ones cup of tea. ..it's Sally's home...

Clean, immaculately presented and a wonderful environment. Very friendly and homely. Rooms are very comfortable and food excellent. Constructive criticism - lack of ensuite facilities, many rooms have to share bathrooms - if you want an ensuite request one when you book. The owner is in the process of updating the chateau and if you wanted to be picky you...
