Detailed Reviews
My group spent one night here while en route to the desert from Fes. As we were such a large group we were housed in a separate Riad on the property away from the main hotel. Our Riad was beautiful structure and it was so much fun for our large group to be in our own building, we played games late into the night not worrying about waking other guests. That being said the bathrooms did not smell fresh, the beds and bedding were uncomfortable and the food at the restaurant was underwhelming.
The staff at the restaurant were very fun and entertaining, welcoming as I found ALL Moroccans to be.

The hotel is conveniently located on the highway towards Merzouga about 20km from Midelt.
It offers functional and heated rooms (quite important for freezing temperatures during winter months). The level of comfort is good but not excellent. Everything is a bit outdated.
The staff is friendly and used to international clients.
The restaurant serves breakfast buffet and reasonably priced dinner.
For those with a few extra hours: there is a small lake and river located a 15-20-minute walk from the hotel. It's worth a visit.

My tour group spent one night here after we left Fes headed to the Sahara. Our group was hosted in the Riad on the property away from the main hotel. Our Riad was gorgeous inside and out and it was nice to have our own building. Rooms had a living room and a separate bedroom which gave us room to spread out. The Riad sits on the main highway so it can be a bit noisy at night but earplugs solved that. There is a nice 15-20 min walk down to the river past the hotel which we enjoyed. Meals werenāt anything special, but the showers were hot and the staff was nice.

Rundown, smelly, not very clean rooms. Found a used container of feet balm on the couch (a sign that the room was properly cleaned).
Middle of nowhere.
We were so disgusted that we avoided seating on any of the couches in the rooms or common areas
The shower looks like a prison shower.
Wifi doesn't work either!
My group only stayed here because a travel agency (SolonFemale Traveler Network - SoFe) booked it for us. We didn't know was this bad.
We let the travel agency and the hotel know of our concerns.

Shared the Riad with our guided tour group on the way to the desert. The Riad was lovely and our room was quite nice (a suite for a family of 3). The pool was one of the warmer pools on our 10-day journey and everyone enjoyed it. It was fun to spot a family of peacocks strolling around the grounds and I spotted a few other Moroccan birds on the grounds. There were grapes, figs and apricots on-site as well.
We ate dinner in the on-site restaurant, and they had beer and wine on the menu, which was a nice option.
The only minor complaint I have is that occasionally I could hear the road traffic at night but that didn't stop me from having a great sleep.

We had 1 night while moving from Fes to MErzouga. Low price for very basic room, also with heating and hot water. Everything working in the bathroom but really missing of minimum level of propriety. They accept payments with credit cards (not so common in Morocco).

Room is OK. Keep away from the restaurant. I was served undone chicken skewers, and when notifying the staff, they took away the plate only to return with the same plate and same undercooked meat 10 minutes later. Although not eating the chicken, we all got sick that had the grilled meat.

Recommended stop for those who must reach the Merzouga desert the next day.
The hotel is located on the street next to a petrol station. It has ample parking, a swimming pool and a bar/restaurant.
The rooms are large but old-fashioned and do not shine clean: in the beds you can find some insects and the bathroom is full of flies. The beds are comfortable but there is only one high pillow, which for cervical sufferers is not the maximum comfort.
The restaurant cuisine is pleasant.
Very good instead breakfast where there is a large buffet of homemade cakes and omelets.

The heating at hotel is poor- we had 2 radiators and an aircon/heater at 31 degrees and the room was still freezing. We had to wear 3 layers to sleep. In addition, the shower went from warm to scalding hot. Staff were helpful and polite, but there is only so much they can do for poor facilities.

Warm welcome, excellent food, impeccable service, very clean and nicely decorated rooms. Starting point for many surrounding visits. Pleasant walk, within the hotel itself. We attended an evening of an orchestra with Amazigh songs and dances, organized by the hotel
