The accommodation was just what we needed; a room for the night as we continued to walk the Thames Path. Set in a very pretty village, this is an ex pub which now delivers the ideal bed and breakfast. We found the owner(s) to be very friendly and helpful.(they loaned us a torch for the journey back from dinner at...

Stayed one night in room 5. Pleased with room, comfortable bed, shower okay and room clean. Had a drink in bar but bar person wasn't very communicative at all and room was cold with no atmosphere. Breakfast was nice with okay service. I would stay again but please sort out the bar issue.

My husband & I stayed here for three nights so as we could explore Oxford, in particular Blenheim Palace. Our room was in the converted barn, was of a good size with a four poster bed & tea & coffee provided. The breakfast was freshly cooked & very good & the owners were very friendly. Unfortunately there is a busy...

Old inn, immaculately clean, good breakfast. Helpful host. Room 2 is up steep stairs with an enormous, if old, bathroom. Largest tv ever seen in a bandb! We can recommend the Lebanese restaurant in nearby Abingdon. They have rooms in a separate building as well. Good value for money. Ideal for a few nights stay in the area.

We stayed here for one night on our way to Southampton. The room with its 4 poster bed was very clean with all the usual amenities, the thing that impressed us most was the wonderfully soft & crisp bed linen. There are no evening meal facility, but plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast, which is also highly recommended is served in...

Great Host, top quality bedding. Breakfast excellent, what more could you want. Mai was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully cared for old building retaining all its charm and character. Huge TV in the bedroom made it difficult to leave the footie

Lovely thatched cottage with friendly staff. We stayed in fantastic large individual accommodation with a four poster bed. Good breakfast. Only drawback - they did not serve dinner. However, there was a ten minute walk to a Chef and Brewer restaurant or a short drive to the nearest town.

Stayed overnight during late August of this year. The room was large, well-resourced, with a large separate bathroom. A good night's sleep, followed by a first-rate breakfast. Disappointed that it was no longer a pub. However, the owners were polite and helpful, with the overall experience overriding any notion of initial disappointment. A value-for-money experience. Thank you. (Sorry about the...
