This gem was one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at—pristinely maintained with every amenity available! Beautiful walking trail, immaculate restrooms/laundry, great food truck onsite if you prefer to not cook, power wash RV station, grass sites all pull through, playground, information center w/TV, library & plentiful brochures, etc. Close to town w/Walmart, grocery stores, pharmacy, Dollar Store, fuel, & restaurants! Great stop which we extended it was so nice!

This campground is fantastic. The bathrooms and laundry facilities are clean and well maintained. The grounds are well kept and landscaped. They have small cabins available for overnight stays although we did not use them (but we peeked in them). They offer propane for sale and an RV car wash both of which we used. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They have a hall for activities. During our visit, there was a small car show on site and a craft sale the next day. We loved this place and have now booked another few days when we return from Newfoundland. We will use it as a base for some sightseeing in Cape Breton.

best campground ever. clean, well groomed property, friendly, price is good, And John the owner is a great guy who works hard to keep things in order. We had a problem with our truck while staying there and he knew of a local garage that would treat us good. And they did. We will be staying there again next year for sure. If we could give the place 10 stars they would get it. Thanks for a great time. Glenn and Debbie Thompson

Excellent campground with spacious and numerous pull through sites for all rig sizes, especially big rigs. Nice bathrooms and showers. Showers are 50 cents each. Only Place we have ever had to pay for a shower across Canada. Friday local entertainment at the barn on-site. Fast food trailer on-site with good food. Great place to stay before /after the Ferry to /from Newfoundland. 15 min drive to North Sidney Ferry terminal.

Located in Little Bras D’Or just off Hwy #105. Nice view of water. Very clean and well-maintained. Laundromat available. Friendly owner. Best WiFi yet on this trip. Two clear TV channels available. Good wide lots. Only complaint is that they only accepted cash but was open to our suggestion of using the Square in the future.

The campground is located near North Sydney at the intersection of the Trans Canada Highway and a busy side road, just five minutes drive from the Newfoundland ferries. It is basically an open field - suitable for one night but not an extended stay. The main drawback is the noise from large trucks on the side road, very close to where the tent sites are located. The KOA campground on the western side of the Lake by the bridge, although farther from the ferry dock and the North Sydney restaurants, is probably a better place to stay.

After a 6 hour ferry ride from Newfoundland, we were told about this campground/rv park that was only minutes from the ferry terminal. The people were prepared for rv's from the ferry and were there to great us as several rv's pulled in for the night. They were so well organized and helped make our transition to Nova Scotia an easy one. The place is very immaculate and convenient. A little pricey but worth the hassle free worries of finding a place to stay as evening was approaching and, with a steady rain falling.

I stayed in this campground in August on my way to the Newfoundland Ferry. I stayed there again in September on my way home. The second time I stayed a couple of nights and toured Sydney NS. Everyone is so friendly and the RV sites are large with full service. There is often music in the hall with impromptu people playing. The owners can't do enough to help you. If you are there when "Winney's Chip Wagon" is open make sure you have their fish and chips they are to die for. Also don't forget to say hello to "Mike" the chicken, she wanders the campsite as a kind of mascot.

Things to know: Showers are $.50, and last long enough for the average person. Visa and cash are the only method of payment for the sites. Wi-fi is free; connections are spotty from the campsites, but there is an Information room with tables, pay phones and tourist information, which also houses the wi-fi, and reception there is great.
The campground is clean and well-maintained and the owners/staff are pleasant and helpful. The views of Bras d'Or lake, especially the sunsets are beautiful. Washrooms and showers are clean and bright.
It is a large campground, and many groups come and go daily, but is is well-organized and you hardly notice the RVs coming and going.
It is near a highway (as are many others in the area) and you do hear the noise, but I stopped noticing it after a night or two. The campground itself is very quiet- no noisy partiers, or groups who like to stay up talking all night. No entitled seasonals.
We found it a convenient location to visit the Cabot Trail, as well as most other parts of the island. It was a short drive to North Sydney for gas, groceries, etc., and close enough to Sydney for evening entertainment (Highland Arts Theatre), restaurants.
This campground is more suitable for campers on the move, or those, like us, who use campgrounds as our base while travelling in an area. It probably isn't great for those who want to spend all their time at the campground.
We will definitely stay there again.

I have no idea - but doubt it - however you would have to call the campground or contact them by e-mail - If you are planning on going to Newfoundland - you will absolutely LOVE it - but go during the summer.
There are more places to choose from in the Little Bras d'Or area.
