If you like nice, fresh food, don't go there. Very poor, poor diner. It looks like times stand still at the Cnoc Hotel. No problem, but on there site, hotelinformation and with Tripadvisor Award winner 2014, you pretend something else... We did went for fresh Seafood. Can't hardly believe, my salmon was fresh.. Served with some new potatoos (they were...

we stayed for one night at the end of a walking and camping trip, to enjoy a good meal, a hot soak in the bath, a rest and a comfy bed. we were not disappointed. What a beautiful spot. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and very kind and helpful. The food was really lovely and...

We have just returned from our summer holiday at the Cnoc and have just dug out the diary so we can book our next visit in the Autumn. Once again, we have been looked after royally. The staff are delightful, the excellent proprietor is hands on and it shows. We found this remote, stunning location some years ago and our...

We have just returned from a short break at the Cnoc Hotel, after reading a review that has been recently posted I was wary about the standards of the hotel - we needn't have worried! The hotel is located in a peaceful area ideal for exploring the Highlands. It's so tranquil that I struggled to wake up in a morning,...

The position and location are excellent. The bar is also cosy and welcoming but the room we had was very poor. Tiny on-suite. No TV ! There is an excuse that they would need to subscribe to SKY but it should be pointed out at booking. The whole hotel needs a refurb. It was very quiet and the food was...

We have just returned from a short break and were lucky enough to stay at The Cnoc Hotel. This hotel is in a great location for exploring the Highlands and is surrounded by some fantastic driving roads. Another bonus is that Glen Strathfarrar is literally on the doorstep. Joanne and her team do a fantastic job of looking after their...

We spent 2 nights at the Cnoc. Staff were very friendly and efficient, the food was very good and our room had great views over the countryside. We were in room 7 and the only minor comment I make is that you can hear the shower being used in room 6. Great base for exploring the surrounding area.

This hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful setting and well located for exploring the Highlands. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very friendly and welcoming with attentive service to ensure that you enjoy your stay. The food is excellent, and we enjoyed a wide selection of local dishes from the menu including a seafood platter, scallops with bacon in garlic...

Have just spent two nights at this comfortable, spotlessly clean, Highland getaway. Set in beautiful surroundings, this hotel is very welcoming and friendly. The tasty, fresh food was just what we wanted after a day on the hills (scallop starter a highlight for me....had it on both nights!) Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you very much to the staff at...
