After asking at the first hotel in this nice little town ( which was far too expensive for us) we got to this nice hospedaje and were very surpriced about the fair price ( even more after we saw the nice room, the big hospedaje inside ( which we had for our own), the beautiful view on the mountains around the colca cañon and above all the clean, hot shower. When we arrived there, the hospedaje was closed. Knock at the house just before the hospedajes, there live the owners. Or just ask the nice helpful people on the street where they are. The Geysir, after which the hospedaje is named, was not recomended by the owner the time we where there: a close volcano was active and they have to clean the geysir first, because it may be covered of ash or stones. The owner Eric was very helpful and described the way very exactly to the cruz del condor mirador. Probably he organizes good guided tours, to us he seemed very competent.…

Very clean hostel and the family is lovely. We had diner in their restaurant and it was very good. Nice place to do a hike and you can also rent horses who are very good looked after. It looks a bit rough but its a nice place to stay.

I came here in 1998, 2000, and 2003, once alone and twice with friends. Each time, Zacarias was an amazing host and guide. It's wonderful to see that his business has grown and seems to be doing well. I hope to come by again someday for another visit and more explorations around Pinchollo. The geyser and the hike up towards Hualca Hualca are beautiful.

We had an amazing stay at Sacarias little family run hospedaje in Pinchollo. He and his family opened up their arms and invited us in. The rooms are basic and clean. The food is great. Don't miss out on the horseback riding tour to the geyser! The views are spectacular and Sacarias is a great guide and horseman! I would definitely recommend a couple of days here on your way to Colca Canyon. //Louise & Björn
