Situated on the North Coast with easy access from the N2 and a direct road into Blythedale and the venue, this is another great spot for conferencing and team building, spacious rooms well serviced and a huge dining area, also boast a small cinema conference venue which is great for small groups/conferences,

We got married at Palm Dune in Jan 2013. To say it was the best day of my life is an understatement. When we decided to go back to SA last month we had to visit Palm Dune and did so on our 4th wedding anniversary. We stayed in the honeymoon suite again. Engela helped my husband surprise me with...

I booked a self-catering room, clean and excellent. The staff was brilliant to say the least. Anything, anytime was not an issue. We stayed over the Christmas break and wanted to unwind, the resort has a semi private beach and during Christmas had only families that booked along the beach that used the beach. The manager was there at about...

We stayed at Palm Dune Beach Lodge for 5 nights for a family wedding. The 2 bed apartment was very comfortable. The hotel is very sheltered which was handy given the winds! Walk straight onto a quiet beach - with great views up and down the coast. The staff were friendly especially Kevin who couldn't do enough for us. The...

This is an idyllic setting for a wedding. Fortunately the weather held and all went well. The main room for the paying parents unfortunately was next to the late night visiting area. The wedding food was good, but the sunday breakfast was a disappointment.

We attended my best friend's wedding - we were 2 adults & a 9yr old child. We booked the 2 bedroom family suite. The suite was clean & the check-in process fast & efficient, but that's were the efficiency ended... Although the wedding was on the Sat, we booked in for the weekend. Friday's dinner was (and there is no...

Thank you for taking the time to share your valuable review with us following your recent stay at Palm Dune Beach Lodge. We are sorry to hear that your expectations in our dining hall left you feeling disappointed. Our dining room does not operate with an a la carte menu, the chef works of a set menu which we feels...

My daughter had an amazing beach wedding at Palm Dunes, mid-March 2016. Every request was handled with no fuss by the manager, Engela and her staff. The beach setting was superb, and we were very lucky the weather held-up for us. We then had a "braai" (BBQ) on the Sunday with lots of meat and lots of good cheer. We...

I was last here for a conference 10 years ago and enjoyed it. The Lodge has subsequently undergone huge upgrades and is extremely nice and very good value. The Restaurant serves a nice variety of meals and a good breakfast. Right on the Beach so access is excellent.

This lovely venue is all about knowing what to expect. It's a small resort in a tiny beach village on the north coast of South Africa. Our family stayed in the self catering 3 room family unit. The kitchen was well equipped, rooms clean and comfortable with air-con. The staff are very laid back, which worked out well as we...

As a wedding venue this is a very disappointing start. Poor grounds maintenance and lack of attention to detail. Wedding catering less than impressive with additional services lacking professionalism. Not child friendly as all pools open and close to rooms. The rooms appear tired and could use a serious revamp. Staff are extremely friendly and approachable.

Thank you for your kind words regarding our friendly and approachable staff. We take pride in the up keep of our gardens, not many venues along the coast have the setting and gardens we have. KZN North Coast is faced with a severe drought and the municipality has imposed water restrictions, normally we would be able to water our gardens...
