Hello. Pike like to ambush their prey, so they hide in reeds, and quiet coves. This time of year they like shallow waters as they warm better in the sun. They are aggressive hunters, and like to hit Mepps and spoons. Rapala's are also quite effective. Bring a good line of at least 10lb test, and certainly steel leaders as they bite through the line quite often with their sharp teeth. Bring a good filet knife and a smaller one also if you wish to remove the pesky Y-bone.
