OK, this place is different than any other B&B we've visited. It's located above a beauty shop, not that that was a bad thing. The lady who books you in is not on the premises so making contact might take a bit of time. Our room and the living room common area were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was a...

The only reason we went to Fortune was to catch the boat to St Pierre. Looking around, we really haven't found any other reason to come here! Brian, who runs the B&B also manages the only boat running to St Pierre this season so really provides one stop shopping. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We stopped in at the...

We stayed at the B&B overnight while awaiting our ferry to St. Pierre Ferry. It is up and over a beauty salon, so we were not sure we had the right place at first. The Manager was very nice and the rooms had recently been redone. They were basic, but tidy. The beds were all new and that was very...

in town for a couple nights so we could do the day trip to st. pierre et miquelon. the b&b is above a hair salon so it took a little while for them to phone the proprietor to come down and show us our room. but luckily enough he was also able to get our reservations and print our tickets...

We were totally not expecting to spend the night in Fortune. We drove from St. John's to catch the Saint-Pierre ferry and arrived over an hour ahead of time to find out Saint Pierre Tours stuffed up our reservations and booked us for the boat only even though we requested a hotel and of course there were no vacancies to...

We stayed at the B&B for three nights. We were cordially greeted by the Manager and given a choice of the five rooms. He was exceptionally knowledgeable of the area and provided is with more than enough information to enjoy our trip to St Pierre. The B&B was clean and bright. All of the rooms were newly decorated. There is...

Brian, the owner of the B&B, was great during a recent family vacation in Newfoundland. On arrival in Fortune, he gave us the option of staying at the B&B or at a chalet/house that he had just a short ways out of town. The chalet was very nicely done up with all the necessary conveniences and certainly more space than...

We booked and began with being met by our host, he was incredible in greeting us, connecting us with what we needed and making suggestion of added sights and values to make our stay even better. Extremely clean and comfortable with everything that we needed for our family. I would highly recommend it and stay again, great value for our...

My partner and I stayed here before our trip to St. Pierre. Our bedroom was nice enough although a few maintenance issues could be addressed - the mirror backing was peeling and some flooring was coming up. The room was very clean and the toiletries nice. The common area is comfortable with a TV, computer and two dining tables. The...

We were here for one night before taking the ferry to St. Pierre. The host was great and took us on a quick car tour of the town and showed us the fishermen, places to get a good meal and where to catch our ferry the next morning. The space is comfortable with wi-fi or a computer in the living...

“Rooms on the north side of the building have the best views of the harbour. The west side rooms are popular, too. We saw all of the rooms. None are bad. Kitchen and commons is on the east side of the building so if you're a late riser, might want to stay farther from that area to avoid the noise.”
