Stayed over before flight! A beautiful house in wonderful surroundings. A haven of tranquility. The room for us was perfect. So clean and had that lovely feel good factor. The lady running it was delightful nothing was any trouble to her. Also, this retreat is near to everything you require and a very short walk to the station. Guildford is...

I stayed here for one night, a spur of the moment thing. The lady on the phone explained the room options to me simply and fairly well. Excellent location in front of Guildford train station and close to James Street shops (though the food in Guildford is mediocre; go for the architecture!). The room was clean, spacious and was clearly...

Great location, comfortable, clean and friendly. This is a really lovely place to stay if you're heading to Guildford. I didn't realise it has a pool or we'd have definitely made use of it as the day we arrived was in the high 30's °C! Would stay here again for sure.

Checked in by super friendly owner. Very welcoming. It was a bit of a strange set up. The 'suite' was below the other rooms and it was two rooms separated by an open area. One room was a large bedroom with a queen, two singles and a nice lounge area. The other room on the other side of the open...

My husband and I spent one night at the Guildford River Retreat and we really enjoyed it. The receptionist was so friendly and welcoming, and she even upgraded our room. The room was fairly standard and facilities were clean and all that we needed for our stay. The actual location is great, walking distance to the Guildford Hotel and nearby...

We only stayed one night as we used this place as a stopover before flying out next day, as it is close to the airport. We glad we got their early afternoon as we then had time to explore the township of Guildford, which has some wonderful heritage houses and buildings. The hotel is one of those heritage homes, that...

My boyfriend and I came here after 3 weeks of staying in a camper van. It was such a charm, and perfectly located near our van rental and airport. It was spotless, I mean spotless! Really nicely decorated, with wifi and tv! The backyard has a nice garden, fruit trees and a chicken coop. We got fresh milk for our...

Just a quick overnight stay in 2 rooms for the family. Rooms seperated from house so you can come and go freely with the bonus of brekky if you want it. Really clean, brand new and warm! Great to have kitchenette. Large gym if you want to work off some of the fabulous food on offer in guildford. Slight noise...

We found the Guildford River Retreat outrageously overpriced was $198 a night a Monday night and not during school holidays. It was a very basic room which was tired and old with creaky floor boards and the teabag dish none too clean, view of a contraction over the road. We booked in as it was near to the airport and...
