We stayed in one of the motel rooms at this great family run resort on Lac Brome. The room was slightly small (family of 3) but very clean and had all the facilities you'd need. But the real deal here are the on-site facilities and the genuine friendliness and care that the owners put into making sure that their guests have a great stay. There is a jetty access to Lac Brome for swimming - this is directly across the road from the hotel - and there are several canoes and kayaks which you can use to explore the nature reserve that borders the hotel. Add to that a good sized pool, BBQs and picnic tables and you have pretty much everything you need for a relaxing few days. The breakfasts are superb - featuring a variety of fresh breads and home-made cake and jams each day plus plenty of fresh fruit and coffee. The owners are very helpful allowing me to use their laptop to check a few things online and being full of useful information and suggestions for things to do locally. We prefer not to book ahead unless we have to, so came upon Les Cypres by accident. First impressions matter then, and Les Cypres delivered - we liked it so much we extended our stay.

Great hotel. Close to Brome lake. Awesome free breakfast! Has a pool. Great place to have a family gathering.
The room we are in is great. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Big bathroom.
Have kayak rentals and wonderful treed property.

This place is definitely dated, but quaint. The cottages are over 50 years old, maybe 75? Yet super cute. If you want high class, go somewhere else!
The staff/owners are friendly and helpful. We took the kayaks for several kms this morning in the stream/ marsh behind.
The sunset from the dock across the road was fantastic. Pool is clean.

We are so pleased with our stay in this motel. The owner Alain stayed up and waited for us to arrive, helped us find parking and showed us to our room. The room was perfect for what we needed... A double bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom was the nicest motel bathroom I've ever seen. They had plenty of water bottles and a little room to get coffee and toast in the morning. What a beautiful area this is I would definitely come back to this motel for a weekend and go kayaking and hiking and biking around Lac Brome. Highly recommend.
