Amazing service, location, style, and price! Highly recommend for couples, families, and friends. Very spacious, nicely decorated, and safe. Friendly staff! Close to Lac Brome and nearby towns, including Knowlton.
Auberge Jolivent is a lovely inn with beautiful grounds and amenities. The Classic Queen room was small but well appointed. The bathroom was a little too small though and a little dated compared to the rest of the room. Another complaint is the air conditioning- it did not work well which made one night very uncomfortable for sleeping. We really like the restaurant and terrace. Good food and very nice ambiance. All in all we had a nice stay.
I booked the Gourmand experience package for two nights and it was well worth it . The package includes breakfast ( simple but their homemade jam and croissant. First of all the place is gorgeous , the interior and exterior , worth going during summer time so you can enjoy the restaurant and bar patio . There is also another big room that accommodates indoor dining , very stylish . The food from their restaurant was tasty and the pizza delicious and the bar had several selections on beers and drinks . We both had the Lomi massage and we really enjoyed it . You get a discount on that service too (30$ off per person) The package also covers 30$/per person for dinner. The first night we dined at the restaurant, on Tuesday the restaurant was closed so we could spent that money at their gourmand store . A good selection of fresh food , we got the quiche , dessert, drinks . Very convenient .The staff was kind enough to keep whatever food was left I the fridge and we had that for lunch the next day before we checkout out . Reception staff was very accommodating to our needs and questions. We went for a drive at Knowlton. The scenery is gorgeous with these amazing estates . We had lunch at a pub and bought a painting from a local artist . Highly recommended to visit les filles du coin, When we arrived in late afternoon the pool ( not heated ) was full of insects so we didn’t seem. Would be useful to have someone cleaning it up during the day . I requested a quite one and it was facing the back yard and parking . Be mindful the place is located on a street so there is some noise from the passing cars . It was old kept , meaning the bed was squeaky, the mattress and pillows was too firm for my liking but still comfortable. They really need to upgrade the bathroom , the sink was cracked , it has the old Bain magic kind of shower , not enough spaces to place your personal items . Also the room needs a full body mirror and a bigger one in bathroom with better lightening .There is no tv in the room. So bring your iPad laptop if you want to watch a movie . The internet speed was fast . So apart from the poor pool and bathroom quality , everything was great ! We really enjoyed our stay , the staff was very courteous. It is not an ideal place for young kids as the rooms do not offer a lot of isolation and the whole ambiance is romantic .…
A little gem of a place which reminded us of travelling in Europe. Due to COVID 19 restrictions the restaurant wasn't open, which was a bit disappointing, but to be expected. We missed its reopening by a week. Our room was well appointed with yellow being the accent colour set against grey walls. It was clear to see it had been done by an interior designer. Tres chic! However, there were a couple of issues we had with the room. We travel quite a bit and were surprised that there was only one bedside table. As I love to read in bed, this was awkward. Another problem was that the room was uncomfortably warm. The AC wasn't working and there was no ceiling fan. A fan would be such a great addition. Breakfast was outstanding, with crepes with fresh fruit on our first morning and a a smoked salmon omelette on the second. Amandine, the server, was charming. The outdoor terrace, swimming pool and stunning flower gardens were such a treat, but what we loved most was the area behind Domaine Jolivent. Magnificent paths greeted us, which meander past a natural pond outlined with trees, plus meadows of wildflowers and much more. If I remember correctly there are actually 100 acres of property. There must be awesome cross country skiing! I mustn't forget that we had a warm welcome from Lynne at reception. There is more but I will let you discover these treasures yourself! We highly recommend Domaine Jolivent!…
Wonderful eastern township inn on beautiful grounds with a French atmosphere. Extremely courteous, helpful staff. This inn boasts a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning fireplace where you can relax and enjoy a wheat beer from the bar. I highly recommend it for a true Quebec experience.
