We were pleasantly welcomed by Elody at reception which was a great start to our getaway! She was so kind & went over all the details of our accommodation & amenities!
All the staff at Auberge including servers, bar attendants, massage therapist & the owner were always smiling & attentive! Service always available in English or French.
We enjoyed a great evening meal on the patio & the ambience was lovely with lighting & music.
Took some kayaks out on Lac Brome ( hopefully they have the ladder in) which was a fun excursion! The Auberge sits on a large property & hiking trails are available. Lots of lounging chairs around to just sit & relax or read a book.
We would recommend this Auberge & hope to return again.
Merci! J and J

I booked the Gourmand experience package for two nights and it was well worth it . The package includes breakfast ( simple but their homemade jam and croissant.

First of all the place is gorgeous , the interior and exterior , worth going during summer time so you can enjoy the restaurant and bar patio . There is also another big room that accommodates indoor dining , very stylish .
The food from their restaurant was tasty and the pizza delicious and the bar had several selections on beers and drinks . We both had the Lomi massage and we really enjoyed it . You get a discount on that service too (30$ off per person) The package also covers 30$/per person for dinner. The first night we dined at the restaurant, on Tuesday the restaurant was closed so we could spent that money at their gourmand store . A good selection of fresh food , we got the quiche , dessert, drinks . Very convenient .The staff was kind enough to keep whatever food was left I the fridge and we had that for lunch the next day before we checkout out .

Reception staff was very accommodating to our needs and questions. We went for a drive at Knowlton. The scenery is gorgeous with these amazing estates .
We had lunch at a pub and bought a painting from a local artist . Highly recommended to visit les filles du coin,
When we arrived in late afternoon the pool ( not heated ) was full of insects so we didn’t seem. Would be useful to have someone cleaning it up during the day .
I requested a quite one and it was facing the back yard and parking . Be mindful the place is located on a street so there is some noise from the passing cars . It was old kept , meaning the bed was squeaky, the mattress and pillows was too firm for my liking but still comfortable.

They really need to upgrade the bathroom , the sink was cracked , it has the old Bain magic kind of shower , not enough spaces to place your personal items .
Also the room needs a full body mirror and a bigger one in bathroom with better lightening .There is no tv in the room. So bring your iPad laptop if you want to watch a movie . The internet speed was fast .
So apart from the poor pool and bathroom quality , everything was great ! We really enjoyed our stay , the staff was very courteous.
It is not an ideal place for young kids as the rooms do not offer a lot of isolation and the whole ambiance is romantic .

A little gem of a place which reminded us of travelling in Europe. Due to COVID 19 restrictions the restaurant wasn't open, which was a bit disappointing, but to be expected. We missed its reopening by a week. Our room was well appointed with yellow being the accent colour set against grey walls. It was clear to see it had been done by an interior designer. Tres chic! However, there were a couple of issues we had with the room. We travel quite a bit and were surprised that there was only one bedside table. As I love to read in bed, this was awkward. Another problem was that the room was uncomfortably warm. The AC wasn't working and there was no ceiling fan. A fan would be such a great addition.

Breakfast was outstanding, with crepes with fresh fruit on our first morning and a a smoked salmon omelette on the second. Amandine, the server, was charming.

The outdoor terrace, swimming pool and stunning flower gardens were such a treat, but what we loved most was the area behind Domaine Jolivent. Magnificent paths greeted us, which meander past a natural pond outlined with trees, plus meadows of wildflowers and much more. If I remember correctly there are actually 100 acres of property. There must be awesome cross country skiing!

I mustn't forget that we had a warm welcome from Lynne at reception. There is more but I will let you discover these treasures yourself! We highly recommend Domaine Jolivent!

Thank you so much to take time to send us your comments. It is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately because of the COVID, we are closing the restaurant, again, but we are opening today a charming ''Goumet boutique'' with a lots of local treasure and gourmet food prepared by our Chef! We can assure you that the amenities in the room will be reviewed as per your comments. Hope you will enjoy our trails again this winter! Best regards,

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful. Our room was small but serviceable and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the al fresco dining. The breakfast excellent with great service. Coffee and tea are always available. The gourmet shop was a pleasant surprise. The attendant uncorked our wine and provided an ice bucket and wine glasses - much appreciated.

Great terrace under the stars. Wait staff excellent considering lack of personnel during Covid. Food was plentiful and well presented. Lots of space so we did not feel squished.
Can’t wait till next summer to do it again.

We visited early week, so the main restaurant was closed. However the inn's setting is perfect for a relaxing time. Soothing music indoors and outdoors. Well located with on-site walking trails. The service was irreprochable. The only drawback is that rooms are quite small.

Auberge Jolivent is a lovely inn with beautiful grounds and amenities. The Classic Queen room was small but well appointed. The bathroom was a little too small though and a little dated compared to the rest of the room. Another complaint is the air conditioning- it did not work well which made one night very uncomfortable for sleeping.
We really like the restaurant and terrace. Good food and very nice ambiance.
All in all we had a nice stay.

This is a small inn that is inexpensive and great for a short trip to the townships for the Tour des Arts (in July) or the festival de Canard (duck) in October. The rooms are bare bones, so do not expect luxury, but are clean and have adequate bathrooms. what makes this special are the common rooms. The living area and bar are lovely, and there is a library and a TV room. For summer guests, a lovely pool is yours for the asking during the week, and the inn has lake access with a pier, a canoe, a pedalo and a rowboat. continental breakfast is included with the basic room rate and is more than adequate with fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, croissants and muffins. There is a hot menu as well, but it may cost extra. The inn is conveniently located to bot Sutton and Knowlton ( 8 Km from Knowlton and about 12 from Sutton) and also to some of the local wineries. If you like wine, do not miss Domaine Les Bromes as their wines are outstanding. As for the inn, it is a great mid-range hotel, and from thursday through saturday, there are dinners cooked by the owner-chef. We were there during the week, so we did not get to experience the menu, so I cannot comment on the food. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you, but if you are looking for a reasonable place to stay that is comfortable and has a swimming pool and access to the lake, this is a great option.

We stayed one night in room 5 as part of our trip around Canada. Really enjoyed the location, pool area and grounds. There is a little trail around a pond and into woods which made a lovely change from my normal running route.
The twin room is tiny - to be fair that is made clear on their website. I think it is mainly used as an ancillary to make a family suite for children. However there is lots of room downstairs and outside which is outstanding for a little place like this.
Only tip would be that the owners consider upgrading a larger double to a twin for travellers like my daughter and I who prefer two beds. I would have happily paid more for a bigger room.
Otherwise -absolutely great and owner friendly and helpful with restaurant reservations. Also good free wifi.
