The hotel is a surprising find in an otherwise laid back municipality, its design is amazing, antique wood furnishings, spacious room with antique tv set, high ceilinged bed and function rooms, great food, good staff, spacious parking space. The only letdown is that when your activity is in the biggest function room at the third floor, you need to jog down to the second floor to use the comfort room as they do not have service elevator. Recommended for those travelling to Antique and the immediate vicinities.
When staying at hotels in certain cities and municipalities it is important that you get to know that some criteria tends to be different . An example is the Pinnacle , the top hotel in San Jose , Antique . Touted as the favorite of those having special celebrations such as in debut, weddings etc , it is the place to be when in this province . But expectations end there. First things first , all suites ( but all of them are actually the size of most of the rooms in the National Capital Region ) are located in the 2nd floor , which is quite high . The steps are well placed , but still hard to go up for PWD and some not so fit Senior Citizens. Also hard for those bringing wheeled luggages . I didn't see a male attendant , so come on , I won't be allowing ladies doing this stuff , it makes many of us quite uncomfortable if this happen. As for the suites ( the size of basic rooms) , they utilized window type air conditioning which takes quite a long time to cool , and an old style cathode ray television , so don't expect flat screens . The toilet leaves much to be desired , but like what I said , don't expect too much , even if we get to encounter cockroaches and water spillage happens . But there are some cool stuff in this boutique hotel ,, the vintage style decors and creations ,,the free flowing coffee and hot/cold water and the nice staff service who are versatile that they perform roles as front desk staff , housekeeping and bell duties with ease. We had an upgraded breakfast which was designed to be plated at first but later made into a buffet since I am with a big group. Final suggestion , to the owner who also has a 7-11 franchise in the city center ,, maybe he should place one in the complex where the hotel is located , so that it would not seem that it is located in the middle of nowhere in terms of convenience. Although certain restaurants are within walking distance . …
Nice, quiet and cozy place. Perfect hospitality and really attractive design, great furniture and well thought set up of the place. Friendly staff and real brewed coffee instead of the common 3/1 nescafe.
Nice vintage interior accents; old wood furniture; green foliage in open air balcony where breakfast is served. Comfortable accommodations and pleasant staff service. The hotel is situated inside the town near "trade town" - the wet market.
nice filipino themed hotel with a polite staff, no elevator although the stairs were gradually sloped and wide, only 11 rooms big enough, door lock sets are ably which i haven't seen in a while, hallways are wide and decked with sitting areas that look out to great greenery, i wish they placed tivoli lights on the trees making them lovelier, view is picturesque with large planters, very fast internet, served continental breakfast but egg was scrambled instead of over easy bread should have been toasted, i was on the clock so did not complain.with large seminar room, nicest hotel so far in this weeklong lecture tour
