The Pearl Hotel enjoys a prime location lauded by guests for its easy access to the beach and local attractions. While the hotel's cleanliness and attentive service receive high marks, opinions on its value are mixed, with some questioning the price point despite the luxurious amenities. The spacious and well-appointed rooms are generally celebrated, although there are occasional calls for updates. The hotel's amenities and atmosphere contribute to a generally positive experience, but some guests have noted noise issues and suggested improvements in service consistency.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Pearl in Rosemary Beach. From check in to check out the staff made every effort to make us feel special! Champagne on arrival, 3pm snacks in your room, turn down service with cookies, bottled water whenever you need, etc! We felt very taken care of during our 4 night stay. The guys working the chair service at the beach were SO friendly and helpful! We selected a town view room but ended up with a view of the poolside - it was just as lovely and possibly even better because there wasn't commotion all day like the town view might have had. Our room was VERY spacious too! Overall very impressed and can't wait to return! We are very very picky travelers and were very pleased at the Pearl.

For a fabulous, restful, quiet getaway - The Pearl is just the place. From the time you drive up to the time you leave, everything is taken care of for you. All you have to do is rest, relax and go to the beach. Even on the town side, the room is so well insulated - you hear nothing. The nightly turn down service with a sweet treat is the epitome of being taken care of.

They welcome you at the front desk with a glass of sparkling wine 🍷 and at checkout they gave me a gift from the chef.
We felt welcomed. All the staff were friendly.
I stayed at The Pearl several times and the rooms are excellent. I’m going to give you a tip so you are also satisfied with your room. Call the The Pearl directly and have them transfer you to the reservation department. “Don’t use Expedia or Priceline”.
First of all The Pearl will probably match the price or you might even get a better price if your a Florida resident or AAA member.
Secondly, you can suggest options for your room when you talk to a live person, like a king bed, street view, balcony or pick the floor you want to be on. It’s not guaranteed but you have a better chance getting it.
Thirdly, if your there for a special occasion mention it, you might get something sent to your room.
Currently The Pearl lobby is decorated for Christmas and it’s wonderful.
Have fun and hope this review was helpful.

Where to begin. This was by far the most disappointing trip we have ever taken. It was our 5 year anniversary trip ,which was supposed to be spent in Mexico, but thanks to COVID we had to revamp. All ocean view rooms were booked so we booked the pool view room. Online you are led to believe (based on wording and photos) that each room has a balcony, NO where does it state that you may or may not have one. You can imagine our surprise when we get to our room and find NO BALCONY and one tiny window (see photo). The exact opposite of what we expected!!! Not only was the room category completely different than what we booked and paid for, it was joining with another room and we could hear every word from them. The front desk informed us there was nothing they could do that the hotel was completely full. This seems hard to believe because hotels were not operating at full capacity due to COVID. We attempted to move hotels but couldn't find anything else on such short notice. We have traveled enough to know great service, but this was the opposite. Bartenders were not friendly and it took 5 phone calls and 1.5 days to get blankets to help with noise from the neighbors (that the front desk originally offered but failed to follow through with). They are supposedly working on the website to make rooms with out a balcony a separate category, there are very few room without a balcony in the hotel. How a hotel has gotten away with this for so long is beyond me. Paying the same price for a completely different room category, and being led to believe you are receiving a product that you're not, should NOT be allowed to happen. We were so hoping this would become a favorite weekend getaway spot, but sadly it was just an anniversary trip to remember for the wrong reasons!

Let me start by saying I am a world traveler having visited many countries and cities in four continents. I am not easily impressed. I brought my 7 year old granddaughter to the beach for a weekend outing. I wanted it to be a special time building great memories. Understanding ahead of time that the pool did not allow children, I was a bit unsure if she would be welcome. From the moment I pulled up for the complimentary parking, we were both greeted by two very friendly young men who took care of unloading the vehicle and making sure we had everything we needed. Once inside, I registered at the front desk and the young lady checking us in was very friendly to my granddaughter, asking her questions about what kind of things we were planning on doing, if she knew of the candy store down the street and answered my granddaughter's questions about the La Crema restaurant across the street and how we would get to the beach. We got settled into our room with the help of the young man who brought up our luggage and he explained everything to us about the room, the resort, the nearby pools that we could use for free including the lazy river water park. Then he handed my granddaughter a package of cookies with my permission. Our trips to the beach (there were many) were great. Access was easy, beach towels, beach umbrella and chairs were always available by extremely friendly and accommodating young men stationed at the beach. Everything was clean. No stepping over trash or cigarette butts. The restaurants and shops around the hotel were perfect, and when I wanted to use my car to go to Baytowne Wharf and SeaSide, I simply clicked the button on the table in the room and my car appeared in minutes. The room was spacious with a separate round dinning room with 12 foot ceilings and lined on one side with windows. The walls were covered with a jungle pattern wallpaper and there was a second TV in there as well. The bathroom was clean and modern, and the shower was perfect with multiple water heads to choose from. Hair dryer was standard and we were supplied with body was and shampoo as well. They thought of everything. We also had a mini fridge supplied with sodas, juice, and bottled water. I never had to buy any sodas or water the entire trip. Everything was complimentary. We ordered room service twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. It was delivered quickly by very friendly staff and the food was delicious. We had a fabulous time!.

The Pearl is a great place to stay on 30a. It is a luxury hotel in a perfect location. The staff are warm and inviting and very professional. The beach is a short 2 minute walk away and all of the main restaurants in Rosemary Beach are right across the street. It definitely caters to adults and is not a good place to bring your children. I would definitely recommend staying here for a special occasion since it is very expensive.

We spent a few days here and enjoyed the hotel and the beach. The hotel staff was outstanding and provided assistance as needed. Housekeeping came twice a day with towels, water, etc. The beach was nice with wooden chairs and umbrellas. Water was clear and calm both days. Due to Covid-19 they are doing limited housekeeping which is understandable but it would have been nice to have clean sheets at least once during our stay. Otherwise it was great!

Dear EJtraveler558: Thank you so much for your recent stay with us, and for taking a moment to give such a nice review of your experience! It's always great to hear that our staff was outstanding during your visit, and that you enjoyed our amenities, and the clear waters of the Gulf. As you noted, we are trying to limit in-room contact between guests and staff in order to keep everyone as safe as possible, but please don't ever hesitate to request any housekeeping services that you may wish to have done; we are happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible. Thank you again for being our guest at The Pearl, and we look forward to seeing you again in the future! With regards, David Merryman The Pearl Hotel

My husband & I visited The Pearl October 2020 for our honeymoon. After being out of the country for vacations in the past, we felt like it was the closest feeling from being actually out of the country. With the beautiful view, outstanding customer service and wonderful pool side service we were convinced this was the best place to vacation from now on out.
Fast forward to October 2021, nothing felt the same as last time. The building seemed like there were multiple repairs that were needed, customer service was 0/10 with us being out at the pool waiting for over 30 mins for a waiter with zero enthusiasm to order a cocktail, getting a voicemail response from calling up to the front desk to ask a question & the fact that no food was allowed on the pool deck are a few things that we noticed. The food on pool deck was our main concern as we like the pool vs the beach. We like to munch on pool side snacks and have a few cocktails while relaxing on vacation. However this is a new “state law” that took into place that you aren’t allowed food on the pool deck (which come to find out is NOT the case). On top of that, we hadn’t had the opportunity to visit the roof top bar last time due to events, this time was the same way. They closed due to an event going on later that evening. For a resort to close amenities for an event is a bit ridiculous for the price you’re paying. We also had the poolside view which caused us to be interrupted with very loud music shaking our bed from the event going into 9pm on a Monday evening. If you’re looking for a relaxing out of the country experience save your money or book somewhere else. I’m disappointed having to write this review as we left a day early to avoid anything else. The only thing saving this review is the restaurant and the valet.

As former owners at Rosemary Beach, we have only been patrons of the restaurant in the past. We enjoyed our stay during the Uncorked festival. Despite (I assume) being sold out we felt well taken care of and had no problems getting a table for breakfast 2 mornings. The treats in the room were a nice touch. My only complaint was that it was warm in the room in the evening. I like it cold when I sleep, I had the thermostat as low as it would go (65) it felt warmer than that. I made sure no doors were open as the air turns off if the balcony doors are ajar.
The staff were friendly and eager to help.

From the moment we arrived and parked our car right out front, we knew it would be a special hotel. The proximity alone to everything you need at the beach alone is priceless as we never got back in our car for two days. The rooms with high ceilings and wonderful decor with French doors that open up to the pool on the first floor are super comfortable and stylish with top quality linens and fabrics with a whimsical flair and color to brighten any day. Champagne greeted us in the room for our 30th Anniversary and we ended up eating at the hotel restaurant both nights as well as breakfast both mornings. Eating on the veranda at The Havana Beach was a treat and I highly recommend a drink called Meet Me in Santiago! Its made with Mezcal and Aperol and the most unique tasting cocktail I've ever had. Incredible indelible The Pearl! From the parking staff to the front desk, the Concierge, Wendy, all staff we encountered were friendly and ready to assist you in any way. We will GO BACK first chance we get! Highly recommend THE PEARL!!!! Basically fell in love with the whole environment created here. The Pearl is a PEARL.

Greetings Michelle, The hotel faces Rosemary Beach's Western Green, which provides access to the beach. We are not located on the beach itself, or the Gulf, however it is only a short walk from The Pearl to the Gulf. We have 13 rooms that have a view out over the Green to the Gulf of Mexico.

Does the hotel offer beach service like food/drinks from the hotel restaurants?
Answer from David M
Good Morning, Vending of food and beverage directly on the beach is not permitted anywhere in Walton Country, so we are not able to provide this type service on the beach. For our hotel guests, we offer a "Beach Bites" menu, available thru In-Room Dining, which provides several food and drink options that are packed into a to go cooler bag, which our guests can then take down to the beach. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any additional questions.
