We had a lovely dinner. Since some of the reviews mention poor service, I wish I could remember our waiter's name because he was wonderful - very patient and helpful. The food was the best of all the places we ate in San Miguel. He said he played guitar and sang in San Miguel on the weekends. The entire place...

My wife and I and the 1 year old dog needed a day and night away to refresh our body and minds. Very Good: Our overall experience was very good and we have come away feeling just that. A lot of that has to do with the pool that they have that has the hotel spring water (no chlorine needed),...

This peaceful place can be a challenge to find. We had a rental car so we just asked a taxi to lead us there. No problem. But once we arrived we never wanted to leave! The rooms are spacious with lots of natural light. The view from the balcony was of trees and a small secluded valley. We woke up...

The place is amazing, the rooms are beautiful and have all the amenities you might need, good coffee and great view. It is pet friendly, the owner Juan Carlos, is always around checking that everything is perfect. If you come with kids, there is a nice farm with a lot of animals. The only comment is that the staff though...

The service...the setting...the cuisine...the EXPERIENCE in total, could not have been improved upon. Mom was HAPPY, and so were dad and son. The sushi items, a surprise!...were excellenat, unlike some restaurants that try to offer these entrés. We even asked them to change a Tequila sunrise into a Mezcal Sunrise, and they happily complied...lucky us. The crowd seemed to be a...

A short drive from town (10-15 minutes), Nirvana offers a beautiful and quiet place to relax, eat deliciously, and have some privacy. We loved the pool! The water is nice and warm. The rooms are spacious and bright, with plenty closet space, and nice view from the balcony. There's a mini fridge, and Nespresso coffeemaker.

Six of us went to Nirvana for lunch. Each of us loved our food. The meal was well prepared and beautifully presented. We eat outside on the terrace soaking in the outstanding view. Even though this restaurant is about 15 minutes outside of the center of San Miguel, the trip is well worth it!

Ate lunch at Nirvana and found the food and service lacking. My first cocktail glass had lipstick on it and the replacement glass was also dirty. I had the tuna with a salad and baked potato which was fine but not great. The service was adequate but nothing exceptional. The men's bathroom was very different in that the commode and...

I spent a weekend at Nirvana with friends. It is aptly named, very quiet and beautiful. The rooms are all in separate little units, I stayed in the Tranquility room. It was beautiful and absolutely spotless. The bathroom was huge and had a massive soaker tub, with large windows overlooking a luscious green valley. I generally have trouble sleeping but...

Very nice location, view and facilities overall. The food is also very good...great taste and variety. It was all looking perfect for our romantic get away weekend until we found 3 scorpions in our bedroom (yes, 3!); went to the reception and although they came and killed 2, the 3rd one ran away and we couldn't find it...it only goes...
