We booked a getaway to Carmanville , to see "The Last 2 " . (Amazing singers originality from Newfoundland ) .Needless to say , we weren't disappointed. We booked Auntie M' s for the night . From the moment we arrived, we were met by Myra and her hospitality was beyond words . The rooms were comfortable and everything was there to prepare our breakfast... from bacon and eggs to her homemade bread , it was exceptional. I highly recommend this beautiful place for your getaway. So quiet and peaceful. Thanks Myra for kindness and hospitality. We will recommend this beautiful place to others and I'm hoping we'll be back again sometime soon ...
What a lovely B & B!!! Very clean and quiet place to stay in Carmenville. Myra is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful with things to do around the area. She made an amazing breakfast and you have to try her homemade rhubarb jam it's delicious!!!
We rarely award a 5 to a B&B but his little gem in a town that you could miss if you blink is a gem, and we'll stay here again on our way to or from our beloved Fogo Island. Myra, who lives nearby, is a delight. The rooms are bright and comfortable, the beds a pleasure to sleep in, the place spotless (we left our shoes in the entryway), and we enjoyed meeting her son as well. The woodpile outside is an architectural triumph. Breakfast was delicious. All the comforts of our small Maine home on the north shore of Newfoundland between Gander and Twillingate. A real find, and worth a few miles off the beaten path to get to it. Thank you, Myra.
This little jem is amazing. Myra was very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Everything was wonderful and our breakfast was delicious. I reccomend a stay here, you won't be sorry, and you will feel like you never late hone.
Loved this little village and beautiful home! Myra made us a nice breakfast, sat with her coffee and chatted with us. A warm welcome! Everything we needed in our room and nice common area to sit. Would stay again!
