It is a nice place to stay, I would be lying if I didn't say so. But it was a bit disappointed as well. We pre-booked this place via the website and looked at the nice pictures of the huts. We liked the tree-house in particularly, we even re-planned our trip to Minca so we could stay there. Unfortunately the...

Myself and my partner at 60 plus decided to do a bit of backpacking and we could not have picked a more beautiful setting (once we had negotiated the 10 minute climb )HA HA ! But we finally got to the summit and after getting our breath back a cold beer was in our hands. Our room accommodation was a...

We had a two night stay here and once you get over the rather challenging walk up to the hostel ( a nice cold beer on arrival was very welcome) we thought this place was amazing.the venue is truly unique with the incredible views and the sounds of the forest. you truly feel away from it all. We found the...

Stayed for 3 nights in the treehouse. Room is big and has its own terrace with hammocks and sofa. Staff were superfriendly and the food, omg, it's delicious!! The grounds are very chill, with an awesome sunset terrace with cocktail specials en cheap beers. The common area had long tables to enjoy diner together and lots of hammocks to chill...

This place is beautiful, great staff, tons of helpful advice of what to do in minca and a lovely set up. However, we were not backpackers so a few things to note. We have the best room, the mirador, however it gets pretty warm up there and it can be noisy when people come back late. No complaints since it...

We stayed three nights at Casa Loma. I would recommend this place for budget travelers, particularly if you like connecting to young fellow backpackers. The atmosphere is very communal and mellow, probably helped by the conscious decision to not have WiFi. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This being a budget place, it is simple with open huts, hammocks...

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Loma! The staff there are all super friendly and helpful. Other backpackers were also lovely. The food is fantastic. Views are breathtaking. We also loved the vibe of the place in general-- laid back and beautifully decorated. We hope to go back!

Had a private treehouse room and it was wonderful! Had everything I needed, and on top of that an amazing view! Had a bug net, a fan above, and a separate bathroom. The hike up makes the views that much better! Keep going, its worth the work :) THey also set me up on a great tour to a cocoa...

Stayed for three nights - it was exactly the reason we wanted to go to Minca. Yes, it's a 5 min steppy hill walk (welcome to minca) but it's well worth it (if you have mobility difficulties, then maybe trying to carry your luggage will be tricky). The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food tasty! Cold showers are...
