Going there for a few years. Good value for money. close to amenities such as movies, restaurants, golf, casino's, game reserves, boating ect. Very save for small children. See and beach save for the hole family. Lagoon is next to the caravan park and are save. Fishing is allowed.

I went there last week to visit my fiance.. We stayed at the cravan park. The only problem was that the gents bathroom didn't have any warm water.. Further on it was nice and quiet. The ladies bathroom was neat and clean and there wasn't any disturbances any time of the day and night. Oh and we left our little...

Someone at that municipality must be reading Tripadvisor! The main bathroom has been immaculately tiled, and the road-gang shifted to the far side of the park where they have their own ablutions. This park is on the verge of making a come-back - just one more detail: I had the misfortune to park beside a clan crass roughnecks from the...

Nahoon caravan park is part of the Gonbie park but in different location, the ablutions are a disgrace. the staff were disorganised and in two cases extremely rude. I was told it was my fault i didnt have the change! And when i asked for it the following day after being promised they didnt have it, so i was "...

When I arrived for a two night stay the very kind reception staff refused to take my money until the following day, saying I might not like it - and there could be no refunds if I didn't. Their concern was quite justified. There was already a party in progress with 30 - 40 SAPS personnel whooping it up in...

Simon's review has much merit by time marches on. Despite good intentions and some determined effort from the staff, this caravan park needs some refurbishment. There are too many broken fittings in the ablutions and a paint job is indicated. It's time for the good citizens of Gonubie to delve into their pockets and upgrade their lovely resort to prevent...

In SA we have learned to expect the worst from anything run by a Municipality, and this resort is run by the Municipality. On the municpal scale Gonubie rates Good to Excellent, which is about equivalent to Not Too Bad on the private scale. Mostly this is due to the dedication of the large, predominantly woman staff contingent who take...
