My friends and I stayed here for a week back in March. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. Rodrigo is a hell of a chef and made us great meals everyday. It is also a great place to hang out during any televised futbol game as the TV will be on and a few local indulging in...

Although the restaurant was closed just after Carnaval, we had a pleasant two- night stay. The AC could have been colder. There were ants, but the rooms were clean. There are other restaurants within walking distance- Monkey Shack and Thelma's were both great. Beach was fun, very close but we drove there; the river was also refreshing. Nice view of...

We were here in 2011, so one can only hope that the rooms have been upgraded ( which is a crap-shoot when the Torio area itself is located an hour and a half from the nearest shopping town!) Also, Robby, the very nice proprietor, was totally immersed in expanding his pond/zoo area, so the tiny cabanas looked downright scary: inadequate...

We stopped here as a diversion from the +/- 8 hour drive from Panama to Chiriqui while the roads were being re-worked. The best thing about the place is the people. Robby, the owner, was incredibly nice and went out of his way to show us around and take us to the beach. He has a wonderful wife and two...

The rooms are basic and need many renovations. The beds creak a lot and the AC was horribly loud and very weak. The website could use and update as it states $28/night but we were told it would be $40/night and charged $40 despite explaining this. The resaurant is nice and has good food and drinks. The music was on...

We did not stay there just stopped by for dinner but the cabanas looked nice. Our food was all very good and reasonably priced. Most difficult thing was communicating we have had no problem anywhere else in Panama but the girl there made no effort .....when she spoke spanish so quick we asked her to repeat and she was not...

I have stayed here at least ten times over the years and I really enjoy it. Back in the day it was a lot more rustic than it is now, but I have to say that hot showers are nice. I spend about 6 hours a day in the Cabana so it isn't all that important to me. What I...

We first went to this little haven in March, during the dry season. We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did experience the restaurant/bar, and had a tour of the property. Robbie and Heidi, the proprietors, have a nifty little place here! Robbie has taken the time to landscape the area using mostly local tropical plants, and is now...

This little resort is on the western Azuero peninsula of Panama in the fishing village of Torio. It’s an easy 2 bus trip ($13 total) from Panama City to get there. The bus stop is across the road from the resort. The large grounds are beautifully landscaped with a small pond that has fish, shrimp, ducks, geese and turtles. There...
