However, we stayed 3 nights and had a very good time in this tranquilly garden setting and our beautiful bungalow. the price...

Had the same experience as a prior reviewer - I was given a flyer advertising room with en-suite in lovely gardens for 250 baht and decided to investigate . . . Almost one hour, 3 unwanted bananas and much fruit juice later I had successfully bartered the older owner (named Nan) down from 800 to 420 baht/night for a pool...

We stayed for just one night and for what we paid, we thought it was more than above! The room was fine, yes slightly old and outdated but it adds to the charm! We didn't find the bugs or insects to be a problem, considering you are in North Thailand right by the river (which is an absolutely stunning view!)...

I stayed here a few days shy of a month. I ate the breakfast a few times. It's overkill. The owners are kind and friendly but they act like they want help...but really don't. the place is rundown but they are trying to update without a clue as to how to do it. They need a cook. They need staff...

I will not go over all the oddities as outlined in a recent review here on TA.... However... Breakfast truly is a sad sitcom or 'russian roulette'. We were told that the girl waitressing (who could never deliver items in the right order) had been there 3 YEARS! We gave advice to the son and mother about EXACTLY what was...

The good: Great location, quiet and away from the main road. The view on the mountains and private dock on the river are wonderful. Superficially, at least, the resort is well appointed and we got a lot of bang for our buck - private room with ensuite for a little over 5$ per night. The room is basic but clean,...

A very warm welcome in a quite place like Thaton. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. A great location, near the water, with good breakfast (not just a cup of coffee). We took a room in a beautiful cabin, at a very good price (especially considering the outstanding service). All...
