This place is easy to find and hard to leave. The close feeling amongst the staff of this family-run hotel is tangible. And the restaurant is really excellent. Best food I tried in Thailand! I love the way they have landscaped the gardens, and each of the rooms is individually styled and well decorated. I spent 10 days here, most... More

One of the great pleasures of Thailand is the resorts that are out of the way and locally run. They can be a bit eccentric, and Saimoonbury is no different. On the night we stayed at Saimoonbury we were one of the very few guests. On arrival we used the pool (which is nice and large), but were unable to... More

This place has a beautiful feel to it. It is clean, staff are helpful and it is very quiet. We had dinner there, the restaurant is next to a small lake and the food was delicious. The rooms were very comfortable with very spacious bathrooms. Breakfast was simple but sufficient.

Wonderful week at Saimoonbury Resort. Relaxed friendly service, helpful staff, delicious food and a peaceful location with no traffic noise made this a 'must return' resort. We enjoyed being able to have company at times, and at other times, finding quiet spots around the garden to unwind with a good book. This area of northern Thailand is less touristy than... More

This resort has to be the best accomodation I've stayed at in Thailand sofar. After my girlfriend and I had been roughing it around some of the more popular spots in the south (Khao San rd, Koh Samet) we travelled with my family to find somewhere more out of the way to relax near friends up north. We were not... More

We stayed one night in this hotel on the second day of our family bike trip. After a first night with terrible bathrooms and barely any hot water this hotel seemed directly much better to us. The rooms were clean and of a good size, the bathroom was ok. Unfortunately the night we stayed they were holding a big concert/dinner... More

Now, my wife and I have occasioned to spend at least one night here, twice. Excellent place. Very quiet. NO bad rooms. The rooms we have seen are all quite spacious - definitely comfortable enough for a week of relaxation. The rooms are nicely furnished and decorated. The rooms are well kept and clean. Seems that this resort is very... More

I have stayed here a few times now and as usual, this last time was as good as before. This time I tried the saltwater swimming pool, which was very pleasant. The rooms are all spacious and large comfortable beds. Also free wifi. I will be back as it is in a convenient location for my travels.

This unique resort with a swimming pool looks the best in the area with perfect hid away. This is a decent resort so far within this area. There are various type of food outlets with a major restaurant being located by the lake, a decent coffee shop at the entrance perfect for an evening romantic dinner. The room was specious and... More

Had a wonderful evening at this hotel. The staff was tripping over themselves to help you. The food was delicious and abundant. Spent the evening with the owners learning about Thai culture. Delightful experience for good value.
