As Bundhaya’s (always late) Ko Lipe-bound speedboat approaches the white sand beach which rounds Koh Bulon Le’s South-eastern tip, Pansand Resort comes into view, and you realise immediately you’ve made the right choice. Fanning out from the reception and restaurant buildings, lines of different bungalow types run along and back from the beach. Surprisingly, a string of the cheaper “Laolieng”... More

Large bungalows with lovely views in nice surroundings but lack of electricity from 6.30am to 6pm is annoying, meaning no use of fan or fridge and very dark in the bungalow unless you have the door open, even then very dark in the bathroom. Hard pillows and mattresses. Noisy fan when working. Breakfast was very good with cooked to order... More

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights in late march 2016. The hotel and stuff are nice but the hotel area is a bit dark and the rooms are located far from beach and does not really give the place the cosy touch. Th beach is ok but not more, walk 300 m north and the beach is a bit... More

The breakfast are good with a great chief to cook eggs anyway... More

We stayed in one of the bamboo bungalows at the beach. The bungalow was really nice, the bathroom not so much, quite dirty with cockroaches. The location is with no doubt one of the best on the island, but they charge 30 bath per piece of laundry and 300 baht per hour to rent a kayak. Never seen so ridiculous... More

The place is clean but not too much expensive double if you compare with Phuket Don't have soup and the towel are small. The bad is to strong not soft. I'll not stop next time.they don't serve breakfast and if you arrive in night time them sleep. The finishing are cheap traditional Thai Chinese style

Unlike the over crowded beaches of Phuket and Ko Li Pe, you can sometimes have the whole beach by yourself. Or share with your family members only. Lovely sand, clear waters, beautiful coral fishes to look at (so bring along your goggles or snorkel set if you have), do a bit of coral fishing, or just lie down on the... More

Pansand is one of the best examples of a family run hotel in Thailand. Its home away from home. The staff is friendly and takes care of your every need. The owner and his family are very welcoming and run the hotel with their heart and believe in building relations with the guests. Mr. Syn takes special interest in making... More

The island is great with not much tourism. We appreciated the clear water, white sandy beach in a beach front bungalow. Awesome! The staff at the reception was very obviously unmotivated, except one waiter who speaks also well english. The reception was quite nice but they sold us the trip.back by minibus from Pak Bara to Hat Yai 100 bhat... More

We stayed for 1 month and still do not want to leave! Previous reviewer commented that some of the staff were disinterested but we did not find this the case. English is not their first language but with a little encouragement and patience they were very helpful. The food was first rate and the location for me is without doubt... More
