I lodged at RKR while on a visit to Hell Fire Pass. I spent two nights at the hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is accessed via a long tail boat ride from their pier that takes about 15 minutes. Scenic but noisy. The hotel itself is comprised of a central reception/dining/bar building and many cottages scattered on...

My friends and I had a great time at the beautiful resort. The location, build-up of the resort is great. What makes our stay memorable was the friendly staff. We had the unfotunate experience where our luggages was mistakenly sent off with another tour group but prompt action by resort manager helped in locating and securing our luggages back. Dont...

My family and I immensely enjoyed our stay at the Resotel. The setting is gorgeous- overlooking the river and surrounded by jungle. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed walking up to and through Lawa Cave and the swimming pool is refreshing in the heat. We ran out of time before we had a chance to jump in the river...

Very nice location, friendly and helpful staff, complete facilities. The only remark was the roadmap to the hotel. We came by car from Bangkok and had a hard time to find the pier from which to go by boat to the resort. Be aware, it is located approx 60 km upstream from Kanchanaburi.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Highlights: We prefer nature settings to city settings, so were enchanted with the location after 4 nights in a city hotel in Bangkok. Service was friendly, and when we had problems with the air conditioner, the response was quick, and quasi-efficient. Pitfalls: problems with air conditioner (basically raining in our room); sheets were too...

I stayed at the Resotel during a 2 day tour to the River Kway and was very pleased with the hotel and service. The rooms are beautiful in a simple way, the hotel grounds stunning, the staff was very friendly. The hotel has a small pool, not too fancy, but nice to have. The dinner at the hotel was good....

We were on an escorted tour, so we arrived in a big bus, which had to go very slowly down the steep road to the parking lot. We then walked a short distance to the pier where we caught a shuttle boat (think small, long and low) for the 5-10 minute ride to the resort. Our room was an adorable...

This hotel compound is located on the river and the boats are waiting to take you to your new adventure. The Pool is beautiful and is in the middle of a jungle and home to the MON Tribe. Walking around the hotel is like being deep in the jungle,. The cabins are rustic but that addes to ambience of the...

“Internet coverage is weak in rooms but free wifi at lobby lounge should suffice. It is a back-to-nature kind of resort anyway so it is best to stay off the internet for a while and experience the surrounding nature. ”
