We stayed at Sea'Scape for one night. The view is beautiful. The cottage was well maintained, clean and comfortable.

There is a lot of privacy here, very peaceful . We really enjoyed walking from the cottage to the sandy beach, where there were many beautiful sea birds to photograph .

We wanted to explore our own beautiful province and have a little getaway, while staying safe ,and were not disappointed.

We even were fortunate enough to enjoy some fresh lobster at the tail end of the season, cooked by our hosts and delivered to the cottage.

Beautiful view and lovely cottage. Clean and comfortable. Warm and cozy cottage feel. We were family of four. The owner was very helpful with information about trails etc. Good size deck overlooking the water. I would definitely stay here again!

We love this place - it was even better than we thought it would be! It is a beautiful location and close to the beach. The cabin has everything you need (including Roku) for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Great for bird watching, photography, painting, or just decompressing on the deck. The owners are lovely and responsive. We hope to come back.

I'm sure this property is lovely. My complaint is that I reached out to them to explain that I had a very personal family matter come up and I asked for a refund. I gave them 12 days notice and they refused to waive their cancellation fee. Maybe they didn't believe me, or maybe it is just a business decision. Where did compassion go? Twelve days notice should be plenty to rebook the property on a busy thanksgiving weekend.

After long drive, we have arrived to this a very rural place . We were warmly welcomed by the owners that gave us the key to the cottage. Happily we got to it. But, oh, it is absolutely run down. It has everything that you need, but furnitures are tatty . Wash room, not just old, but rely impossibly to shower in. Nets on the window with hols so had to fight all night with bugs and mosquitoes. I am not so sure about the cleaning quality of the beds . The pan and dishes provided were dirty, so I had to wash them first before use. We were nearly the only guests in this place, quite spooky. It was probably a great place some years ago, only being run down . Cannot recommend staying there unless it will be updated.

A return visit! Friendly and exceptionally clean. Everything that is needed is available. The view is incredible and the price is right. Hopefully we will be able to come back. Truly a relaxing vacation and a time to unwind. Excellent restaurant with upscale meals found in Antigonish. Easy ride to Cabot Trail and charming town of Pictou.

We found this place very peaceful, and pastoral. Highly recommend if you’re looking for peace and quiet. We took a nice long walk on the beach, which is right near cottage. Wonderful innkeepers! They got lobsters for us and cooked them! Definitely off the beaten path, but worth the ride.

I tried to reserve a cottage for a week. The lady (owner) that I spoke to told me I would have to pay up-front for the whole week. I questioned this as I was use to paying a deposit or one nights stay to confirm a reservation. The lady was rude, ranted about her policy and why and then hung up on me. I am a senior living in Toronto and an avid traveler, I have never been spoken to or treated so rude by anyone. I do not recommend taking the risk of staying here, they do not know how to treat people!

Location: This cluster of cottages is set up with nice views across an estuary to an unspoiled provincial park . Saw four bald eagles from the porch. Canoe available on premises. Location is several miles north the Trans-Canada Highway, east of Antigonish.

Accommodation: We took a two bedroom cottage with full kitchen, living room, two full separate bedrooms, and bathroom (shower). Well furnished, large rooms, immaculate. We paid $160 a night plus tax.

Bonus: Owners were exceptionally cordial. Very well informed on local history, politics and economics.

Hint1: If you are coming in from New Brunswick, shop for fresh fish and produce at Masstown Market. We purchased superb salmon steaks at a very reasonable price in the “lighthouse” and cooked them up. No food or dining options available in the immediate area of the cottages.
Hint2: Bring mosquito repellent. We arrived during a long wet spell and found the numbers and ferocity of the bugs was impressive.
Hint3: Use the canoe to cross the estuary to the long sandy beach at the provincial park.
Hint4: Take care to avoid being swept through the gut if the tide is running out.
Hint5: Ask for CAA/AAA discount on check in.
Hint6: If you need wifi, ask to use wifi at the office. Cottages are too distant to pick up signal.

We stayed here for tow nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottages were nice and private which was great because we had our two dogs with us. The welcome was very warm and helpful and I certainly felt every effort would have been made to fill a request. The cottage we stayed in (#4) was roomy and had a very comfortable bed. No carpets which was great with the dogs. The kitchen had all the appliances you need but we could have done with a large pot. That being said I am certain they would have lent us one had we asked.
Great views of the ocean, lovely beaches to take to dogs on and lots of birds to see. Someone mentioned the small tv, well with all the outdoor scenery does it really matter. With all the fresh air and beach walking we went to bed early and then up at daybreak with the puppy for a lovely morning beach walk. We would certainly come back.
