We stayed at Sea'Scape for one night. The view is beautiful. The cottage was well maintained, clean and comfortable. There is a lot of privacy here, very peaceful . We really enjoyed walking from the cottage to the sandy beach, where there were many beautiful sea birds to photograph . We wanted to explore our own beautiful province and have a little getaway, while staying safe ,and were not disappointed. We even were fortunate enough to enjoy some fresh lobster at the tail end of the season, cooked by our hosts and delivered to the cottage.
Our cottage was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the water. Unfortunately we were only there overnight but did have time to appreciate that a longer stay would have been wonderful. We actually arrived late due to a flat tire but the owner Frank ensured we found the place and got settled. He even helped arrange our speedy tire repair in Antigonish the next day! That's real hospitality! Oh, and a bald eagle sat in a tree outside in the morning.
My husband and I spent weeks discovering the Eastern Maritimes in Canada. We have a penchant for choosing luxury boutique hotels. That being said, this was our absolutely favorite place in all of our travels. Please consider this lovely property. Beautiful / peaceful / inspiring. In culmination, we built a fire and had cordials beside the fire our last night. No where else would this have been possible. An amazing and lovely place - you would be fortunate to experience it. View from our deck there attached.
We stayed at Sea'scape for three nights and enjoyed every minute. The bay view from the deck gave us a beautiful start to the day and a lovely sunset. There are so many birds including bald eagles. The beach is nearby and a larger beach with a lifeguard is just a short drive away. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Frank and Lelia were gracious hosts - they told us to pick up lobster from the nearby wharf, then steamed it for us and brought it to our cottage with all of the necessary tools. Best dinner we had on our long road trip! The grocery store is 20 minutes away so shop before arriving. We had ice cream at Bayside at the wharf (five minutes away) and it was awesome. This visit was the quiet interlude in an otherwise busy road trip - I wish we didn't live on the other side of the continent because we would happily return.…
Gorgeous property right on the water, decorated very nicely and clean - we arrived late the owner made sure to wait for us to show us around. Great views of the water - was able to walk right down to the beach.
One night stay and was here because there were no rooms in Antigonish, but now that I have stayed here, when the opportunity arises again I will stay here and not in Antigonish. Lovely hosts, beautiful and peaceful area. Everything you need and Antigonish is a short 20 minute drive away.
Loved this place! Quiet cottage overlooking a bay. Whispering pines and serene! Clean cottage and had what we needed for a one night stay in the road. Lots of space! Great hosts and would absolutely recommend. Would definitely stop again!! Bald eagle stopped by for a visit as well!!
Stayed at seascapes. Cannot say enough about how wonderful the hosts were. So kind and thoughtful. My husband loved having Frank answer all his questions about fishing and hunting. The cottage was very lovely and spotless. The walk on the beach was beautiful. Will stay longer next time. A huge 5 star rating. And thanks for the blueberries. Grandson was so polite.
1st night stayed Hilltop Motel. Grand Falls NB. Excellent, Clean, small Restaurant Breakfast incl. Highly recommend. Then 9 Days at Seascape Cottages, Bayfield N.S. It is a family business... only 4 cottages, beautiful location, quiet the view was beautiful overlooking St.George's Bay. Cottage was very Clean, with everything you need, white fluffy towels and bed was comfortable, had wifi. The host's were so helpful and cooked us lobster one night. There is no corner store so bring what you will need in the food dept. We used this as a base and visited, Cabot trail, Halifax etc., loved Pier 21 Museum. On the way home we stayed at Best Western Plus, Edmondson..bit pricey but beautiful new motel.
Stayed here for one night on a road trip to break up a long journey. The cottage is very dated but clean. Could do with a little tlc i.e curtains etc, there were a fair few rules and instruction as to what is expected of you. It did the job as we were only passing through but I have to say that the views were exceptional and the setting stunning, this alone would sell the cottages. They had lobster available and you could request fire wood etc, all in all glad we got to see the amazing sunset from our cottage.
