Located in the small hamlet of Espira-de-Conflent, Maison Padrixe is an excellent base for exploring the Pyrénées Orientales. Close enough to city life (Padres 10min, Perpignan 45min) but quite enough to enjoy the nature in the region. Cathar castles and Christian monasteries are easy accessible as day trips.
After a life in international business, Robert returned to his roots, and with his wife Marie-Françoise, refurbished the old family homestead, and built it into a charming B&B. Both rooms are suites, with the topmost room having an beautiful balcony and hot tub. Both have ample room, each with its own sitting area, and are very bright and airy. Free WiFi is available.
The free parking is located in a small plaza in front of the small city hall, only 100 meters away. The location is very safe.
When not performing their duties as B&B hosts, Robert & Marie-Françoise tend to their cherry and olive orchards around the area. If in season, they'd be happy to take you out and pick fresh fruit. If a finished product is more your thing, Marie-Francoise prepares a clafoutis that is excellent.
