We wanted to visit and hike Mount Carleton but we didn't want to tent. This places came highly recommended in the hiking forums so we booked it. Booking process was really easy and the owner was quick to responding to all my questions via txt.

Some suites are dog friendly which helps us fur baby lovers. Where it is located it is in a really quiet location which we found really relaxing after a long day of hiking.

The room that we stayed in was one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in and we have done many trips.

Breakfast items were all left in the fridge there was a ton of selection.

We 100% recommend this place to anyone and will be booking again if we head back to Mount Carleton.

Before I even arrived at the Bed and Breakfast Du Repos the customer service was A+. I was going to be arriving late and Louise was in constant communication with me to assure me this would be ok. When I arrived at almost 10pm she still greeted me at my car with a friendly smile and showed me all the amenities of the room.

The room was gorgeous, spotless, and very spacious. If the floors weren’t brand new, they were very close because they looked like a showroom display. The kitchenette had a hot plate and everything you would need to make your own hearty breakfast. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and I had a wonderful night’s sleep.

When it comes to B&Bs, the customer service is the most important thing and Louise has some of the best customer service you could ask for. You can tell the first second you talk to her that she wants her guests to feel as warm and at home as possible. If you are staying in the area, or even just passing through for the night like I was, you owe it to yourself (and the fine people who run this establishment) to stay at the Bed and Breakfast Du Repos.

Not sure why this is only a 3 star accommodation, it didn't lack anything.

Beds and linens are clean and extremely comfortable. The rooms look brand new (we stayed in the separate building in King Romantique #2). The kitchenette has a small fridge and freezer with everything you need for a big breakfast. Included eggs, ham, toast, jam, pb, margarine, milk, yogurt, cereals, muffins, oatmeal, coffee, tea, and orange juice. I might even be forgetting something.

We brought a small coal BBQ to make supper. They mentioned they usually have a BBQ to use but due to Covid, they aren't allowing people to use it. The kitchen has an induction cook top burner, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle.

It is only 25 minutes from Mt Carleton. They have a small fire pit for an evening bonfire too.

We really loved this place for our Mt. Carleton adventures.

We’re pretty sure the owners wrote the book on “how to operate a bed and breakfast”. From the initial phone call to reserve, prompt reply to email questions, room decor, amenities, food, and grounds. We may have forgot something but they didn’t. Even the little things in a heart shape box with female unexpected needs. Other reviews are accurate for food. We hiked three days at Mount Carleton Provincial Park - Mt, Carleton, Mt. Sagamook, Bald Brook, and William’s Falls trails. The bed was so comfortable at the end of each day. King Romantique #2. Will definitely return.

Haaa!! Thanks for the lovely review, what a nice compliment about writing a book, I wished it was true lol. I try my best to give excellent service and treat guests the way I’d like to be treated. Your review make me feel better about running a business, and not being on site. COVID made me realized that it’s possible to have some quality time for myself, without neglecting our guests. I give you both a big hug! Louise

We stayed in #2 room for 3 nights at the start of September. Very clean and comfortable, nice breakfast choices in the fridge for us. We enjoyed having our own outside space for relaxing in the evening after a day of walking at Mount Carlton Park. It was a bonus having housekeeping every day, very nice touches. We would highly recommend a stay with the lovely hosts of Du Repos.

We stayed in room 6 in the main house. We had a beautiful and spacious private room & bath with an extremely comfortable bed and pillow (a must for me). We share a kitchen with another tenant with lovely outdoor patio seating. You are amongst nature, so you can expect a quiet and calming experience. Location is super convenient if you plan on doing some hiking (Mount Carelton - beautiful hike).

We had a great stay at Du Repos downtown St. Quentin location. The place was very clean, well appointed, comfortable and convenient...including a well stocked kitchen for breakfast. Louise was so helpful from my initial call to the end of our stay...we even ended up snowmobiling with Louise, her husband and about 10 of their friends...great people, great time!

Booked with Louise on short notice, and she was very accommodating. And was genuinely happy that we choose her location to stay at. Checked in with us to make sure everything was acceptable. Very quiet location and far enough off the main road as not the be bothered by road traffic. Whole suite was very clean and the decor was very very nice. Nice comfy bed and lots of towels.

Rm #1 perfect (as advertized) for couple with active collie. Remote location so no noise. Fridge/cupboards stocked with so much good food & clean utensils. Comfortable bed, good temperature control, very clean throughout.Television excellent. Mobile phone reception and wifi good. Parking excellent. Hosts very nice and helpful for us as tourists. I would return to this B&B over any other location in district.
