we loved our stay at Stevenson's. The staff were delightful and couldn't do enough to help us and make us feel welcome. All the management team members ensured that their staff were working effectively to meet guests' needs. In particular, for us personally, the staff made several alterations to our original booking due to our flight dates being cancelled. All...

Hello and thank you so much for your feedback. It's always heartening to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and that the service provided by our staff was good. We always try to be as flexible as we can with our booking as we are well aware that sometimes events outside of your control can delay your arrival...

Resort was nice enough, like the concept of lockable bathrooms although the lock only stops the handle turning - if you pull sharply on the door it will still open. Beach bar is nice, had limbo party the night we were there, music can be a bit loud so good if you're looking for that sort of thing. Staff a...

Many thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. After closing down for a couple of months to get construction and renovation works underway, we have reopened with a new management team and almost entirely new food and beverage staff. We are aware that there are some issues with speed of service and we are working on...

We were aware from booking that they were undergoing renovations and staffing changes and that was apparent from subsequent communications and during our stay, and we were offered a reduced rate due to the renovations. The local staff were very friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed getting to know them over the time, they definitely were a highlight of our...

Many thanks for your honest appraisal of where things are at with the hotel at present. I am confident that our new team will have our staff well trained very soon. Please do come back and visit to see our new pool, new bungalows, renovated villas and Beach Bar deck extension over the beach.

Good points: Fale was nice Enclosed bathroom with hot water and fridge Right on the beach Great snorkeling, saw a turtle Half price deal due to renovations Bad points: The staff all seem new, no one really knows what's going on Manager treated us like riff raff (we had just biked a long way in the heat) We were allocated...

I'm very sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. Lifting the standard of Food and Beverage is definitely a priority. All your comments have been passed on to the Food and Beverage Manager. Thank you for your feedback and for your well wishes

We had 2 beach fales which were an awesome experience but sadly the entire place is in need of some TLC. The beach was just beautiful. The continental breakfast was a disappointment as was the attitude of the staff. If the management made some improvements it would be a fabulous place. Would I stay there again, probably, but would try...

We stayed at this resort for a week between Dec 15 and Jan 16. The view of the beach from our suit was absolutely breathtaking. The cleanliness of the room and resort as a whole was fantastic. Our room was serviced each morning leaving us with fresh towels each time. Our travelling party consisted of 4 people and we still...

The resort is lovely, we stayed in the suites. The complimentary breakfast was nice, but when we decided to upgrade our breakfast, it took almost an hour & 1/2 to get it. Dinner menu is set, with the all day menu at beach bar not really an all day menu, when we tried to order from it later in the...

On a whim, we decided to trek to Savai'i for the weekend and actually found this place whilst driving around. We did not have a booking so were very grateful (and lucky) to have found one for our 2 night stay. We opted for the Fale (traditional house) so we could have beach view and access. You can also park...

Waking up in a Samoan style fale but, with an enclosed bathroom is a nice touch. Absolute Beachfront fales, white sand and clear water. The beach bar is nice, great views and good food. Fantastic staff, the actual restaurant is in a weird place and seems quite big for the resort.

The staff were great friendly and helpful. Beach Fales right in the beach were basic but a taste of the traditional mosquitos nets etc. add on stone bathroom was cool but in unfortunately because of water shortages not always working. Nice touch of complimentary breakfast the pastries baked freshly by onsite baker. Booking and checkout really needs improvement which was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are located on the white sandy beaches just west of Manase, on the Island of Savaii. Our Villas, Suites and Euro Fales are just steps to the ocean’s edge and our restaurant, bar and function fale are situated within the tropical garden on the inland side of our property. With so many options, you're sure to find something that meets your needs and budget. Traditional materials are used throughout the resort to create a rustic appeal in our Villas, Euro Fales and the Restaurant. Stevenson’s Luxury Suites (our newest addition) have a surprisingly modern decor, using bright colours fused with old-world Samoan carvings, tapa designs and exquisite lava rock. Stevensons is the ideal spot for honeymooners and those seeking peace and quiet – swim or snorkel in the cool, clear blue water or simply relax on the beautiful white sandy beach and listen to the gently lapping waves. Simply paradise! ... more   less
