We stayed for one night. Our room was a little basic but spotlessly clean with a large ensuite bathroom. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was superb and excellent value for money. The staff don't speak English so if you're planning on staying you'd be wise to brush up on your basic French phrases! It...

I rarely feel compelled to write negative reviews but I feel I must with this one. I'm a British travel writer who writes for the Rough Guide to France and as part of my job updating the guidebook I visit and review a lot of hotels. I've visited hundreds of hotels of all types and budgets from campsites to 5-star...

The 4th time we have stayed here. This time the noise late at night was bad sometimes going on till 2-3 am. Because of the stone buildings and cobbles of the square it was like living at the side of a roman ampitheatre with peoples' chatter projected upwards. Shutting the room windows tight helped but it was late July and...

Just back from a short break and stayed here. The hotel itself was full but we managed to get a room in the annex which is just across the road. The room was comfortable and very clean. I notice that one reviewer wrote that it was noisy but the hotel is situated in the middlle of a town where everyone...

I know this is quite a while ago, I and my partner stopped at this little village in the summer. We decided to have a late lunch at this restaurant. The waiter was clearly very annoyed and stressed as it was nearly the closing time of lunch time. So, we sat in the outside. The waiter thrown the menu on...

We stayed one night in this hotel which is in the centre of a lovely small seaside town. We felt very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typically continental. We didn't eat our evening meal at the hotel as we preferred to wander through the town to the harbour and there...

We were on a motor bike touring holiday throughout Spain & France. We came across this beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location. The owners were very nice people who made us feel very welcome, this is a homely place and very welcoming, our French wasn't very good as was their English, but between us we were very happy. The room...

- and not that chic. The room we had was clean and adequate but small and needing a bit of updating. With a window opening on to the street below we were disturbed by noisy passers-by until the early hours of the morning and, just as we got managed to get some sleep, by the bin men emptying the hotel...
