I called into this pub for some refreshment and was impressed with the friendliness of both the owners and customers. I ended up being involved in a conversation at the bar. It was peaceful and worthwhile the break. I am looking forward to my next visit. I was able to connect to their free wifi.

Had passed by while out walking and noticed this was open Wednesday - Sunday. Popped back for some food on a Wednesday. Fish and chips, ham egg and chips and sticky toffee puddings all superb. A warm welcome and good honest pub grub.

Rooms were clean and comfortable with a bath and shower ensuite, perfect for soaking sore muscles. Food was tasty and great value in the historic pub....
